i'd like the wings to win each of the remaining games against nashville just to get in their heads before the playoffs. BUT, i still think the wings need to lose the division. it just might light a much needed fire under their asses. the likes of which has been absent in the last few runs. either that or win the division but not the pres trophy. its a curse more than a gift. 4-2 me thinks. calder, dats, homer, drapes.

i'm just really glad that stick wasn't an inch lower (and we saw a horrific clint marlachuk incident) or an inch higher (and see a bryan berard type eye injury) the fact that the guy will not miss a game is irrelevant. im just saying im glad he is ok. simon should be booted for this season AT LEAST, but i'd like to see him suspended til FEB 08 like mcsorely was.

wings take this one easily to re-tie the preds. lids gets 200 and the wings get the W nothing else matters... bertuzzi looks surprisingly good in the wings practice uni (as i can see from some nice avitars and sigs). can't wait til he enters the lineup.

the best deffensemen in wings history is currently still lacing them up. he'll take the ice hoping to bring home stanleys sacred challice this year.

if you deny that bert bring several things to the wings they desperately need, you are an idiot. i will accept the concerns about his health and ability to put up points when he returns, but if all he does is bully guys around and stick up for our finesse euro twins, this trade is still friggin worth it. good work front office.

not exactly sure why, but i like this. calder is about 485876876874326851 times the player cory cross is and that deal just pissed me off last year. hopefully a guerin or bertuzzi is coming but if not im ok with that too. 21 points on the year for calder on the leagues worst team(by far). 26 points for williams on the year with the teams 3 BEST(as the points stand now). this kid is only gonna get better and if he is physical, and call williams a lot of things but physical is def NOT one of them, then this deal makes perfect sense. let alone even is he is williams twin in points, were saving cap space, so a good business call too. i like it all around.
