IF, and thats a pretty huge IF it sounds like at this point, this is true it may just be the worst playoff ending injury in the history of the game IMO. now that may sound like a stretch, but with the pace he was on right up until he was a no go for game two, at 1.09 GPG he could very well have threatened the record for goals in a single playoff year (20 i think by wayne). maybe/maybe not. i'll just pray tonight that i get wind tomorrow of franzens injury keeping him out for game 3 only. get well johan.

100% a goal by crosby that was waved off. IMO, the league needs to change the rule somehow to allow goals that are clearly goals, regardless of whether or not white can be seen between the puck and the line. Who's to say that if a goalie makes a save and his ENTIRE body falls into the net and he shimmies his way out with the puck that we can't PROVE the puck was in. come on. let the goals be goals whether it effects the wings or not... i know that that would make it a HUGE gray area, and mostly im just venting. but still. they're should be a better way.

meh. this is the most exciting playoffs i've seen in a few years. maybe its because the wings look phenomenal and i'm just bias in that regard, but i've enjoyed watching games from all series thus far. sure theres no wings/avs of old, but at this time of year everyone is playing their ass off. no one fights because they dont want to hurt their team with so much on the line. it is what it is but im loving this years post season thus far. just my two cents.

when theo started game 3 i had a feeling his job was done in colorado. come on, budaj was MUCH better (save game 4 when the series was already over and the wings looked like they had 11 skaters on the ice) in games he relieved theo. when a situation like that arises, you MUST start the tender who gives your team the best chance to win when the series is still in reach. trying to prove your a good coach by praying that your number 1 can pull a few out and make you look good is just plain stupid. he had this coming sorry to say. decimated by injury or not, the goalie debacle sealed his fate.
