Schneider's resumé of last POs is pretty okish. On ice for 7 PPG For, 5 EVG For and 6 EVG Against. He hardly played any PK so he can't be the goat for that. Lidstrom: 1 PPG for, 2 EVG For, 5 PKG against & 6 EVG Against. ...with #3 being on the ice for 1 of those PKG and 5 EVG against.

The franchise traded Luongo, who's worth at least three Hortons. Everyone gets moved given the right circumstances. Florida are getting close to the point where they'll make anything to reach playoffs. Remember the Hawks great future, the ABC? All gone. Losing franchises seldom hang on to their pieces.

Dallas in '99, Avs in '01, I think the Devils were #2 in '00. The '94 Rangers. The Mario Penguins. Oh, Tampa was #2 in '04. Carolina was the 3rd or 4th overall seed last season.

we move lilja only if we can get Quincey up and at guaranteed NHL level play. You don't want to fool around with depleted D-corps when injury strikes. Lilja is mediocre but good enough to jump in case of injuries. A draft pick is fine and all, but it can't play games until it's materialised as a full blown NHL guy.

Not sure that Toivonen will be a _great_ goalie, but didn't they get Rask in the Raycroft deal, and there lies there great future hope. Not sure Nabokov can salvage the Bruins.. and his contract.. sheesh. + Joe's current wingers are better than Murray.

Not with a roster player as far as I've heard. They said depth, and they got a mediocre depth player. A manneken. Jesus, we can't aquire guys like Carney for depth!

A good playoff run, first or second round exit is enough. These are days of transition. Retirees, new coach, budget goaltending. I'm happy we proved some critics wrong already.

Since we reverted back to the Euroline up front we've gotten quick results again(coincidental or not), but we also run a larger risk of having our 'only' offensive threat shut down in games. Should Babs neglect Zetterberg's center smarts and use the Big Line to break tight defenses like Minnesota's etc? Note: This poll assumes we're using the current roster. Don't say "trade Lang"
