Bertuzzi => ain't gonna happen. Besides he's done little to earn his pay. Chara => why would he leave Ottawa? We need more 5+ million dollar D-men? Schneids and Lids are enough :edge: in the D, we #4 and #5 depth. Not Chara.

Nah when did I say that? I ain't the coach, I was just speculating as to why he wasn't pulled. He was 3 for 18 there for a while, and then it just collapsed. If the 3rd wasn't enough the 4th should have been. And those are sad ratios. Cujo had 5 of 15 today. Ten saves, but Phoenix were crushing Jackets in every other sense. In this game it wasn't like we had any upper hand in the last 40 minutes, and just "happened" to lose because of Osgood.

I dunno if it's about Bab's sense, it seems more like it's some conviction of his not to pull goalies. He's only done it once, when Howard was blasted to death in Atlanta (with good cause). But he let Osgood play full minutes when he was acting sieve-ish... *shrug* To me it seems like Babcock isn't that extremely concerned with winning regular season games at any cost? Lethargic or what, I dunno.

Hypothetically: IF it was, they should have pulled him in the 2nd intermission already. My analysis of the fact that they didn't proves either that A) Babs is a goalie sadist or B ) Babs wanted to send a message to the skaters where he thinks the responsibility lies for the embarassing score. Either way you can't "blame" Osgood. Not according to my logic. He didnt let the GWG trickle over the goal line in the last 10 seconds of play.

Not only was this game a total kick in the balls. Now old Feds has 2 goddamn assists over in the Desert. ARGH!!! On a more sober note: This was but the second time we had our goalie taken out lest injury. It HAS to be some kind of principle. I'd like to have it explained to me.

Ozzie did not lose this game for the team, however he couldnt win it for them when it became apparent that dallas were taking over. therefore he shouldve been lifted, to spare himself the dishonour and to possibly stir the team to better performance. I dunno why he was left out to allow 6 goals before taken off?

Hedberg is a joke. Anyway, pulling Ozzie has nothing to do with his play, it's to kickstart a droning team. One of the oldest tricks in the book next to cutting down ice time. This one is a goner now, and I hope the crowd is booing loudly cuz they got all right to. GRRRRR!

well though the first period was executed perfectly, we didnt deserve that 3-0 lead (karma wise) . back to the starting point and finish off like we began.

those two quick goals just took all energy out of the players, happens often. and then the refs started to even out the penalties, that could be expected as well.

Money dont talk more than he opt to play for a 3rd division league team in sweden last year just bc he wanted to help them advance in the series system. he would've been paid real money in the SEL or Swiss league or wherever. -

Weeeell... WJC is hardly noticed in Sweden. The last time we cared about it was in the days of Fops youth, which is about the last time we had any success. Thankfully we churn out a few players who turn out quite apt regardless of WJC:s. Quite ironic that Finnish hockey seems to have turned out to be one man shows lately (read goalie)
