The Flames haven't won in the United States in over 300 days. (vs playoff teams) How can you tell me with a straight face they're "built for the playoffs"? Edit: What's the point in worrying about teams to face? They're all good.

If we can't beat San Jose, we can't win it all anyway. One round, two rounds... all the same to me. If you got to avoid a certain team, it's no point in contending.

If you ask me... Toronto, Montreal, Rangers and Islanders should all make it But it won't happen. Personally I enjoy watching Leafs games, dunno if it's because they play like totally without composure and order... makes it actionpacked. Too bad for the Leafs it also means they lose their fair share of games by simply being disorganized. Habs also play rather entertaining, but also there with the other team leaving the rink with a 2 pts smile. Rangers are not very intriguing... and now they seem to play D first, or at least try avoid choking away leads. And that's when they score at all. Isles are the complete package. Blazing skaters, good goalie (until DiPi got hurt), characters a la Witt n Park, Ryan Smyth, cheap shots, fights, Ted Nolan. Canes are a puzzle. A 100+ pts season team loses Aaron Ward and Matt Cullen and suddenly find themselves in POs jeopardy.

Flames aren't the same team as in 04 and neither are the Wings. I wouldn't say they're harder to beat than any other opponent. Rather a slumping Flames team than a heroic Colorado squad sneaking in to playoffs. Then I feel the Preds will win a few more of their final games and take the big regular season yitle anyway... and they can have it.

How does Tootoo "not suck". He doesn't provide an awful lot to his squad when the chips are down, hence he is pretty much stapled to the bench in playoffs. But yeah, Tootoo will "drop his gloves" and pull an Avery Light act once in a while. That makes him "better" than Maltby in everything. Sheesh.

Tootoo is definitely successful in his agitating role tonight. That being said, I don't like him as long as he's an opponent. I don't like Pronger, and he's good. I don't like Brodeur, and he's good. I didn't like Bertuzzi (when he was good). If they joined the team I'd like them. Expect no manlove for an opponent ever from me. Especially an agitating one.
