Dude what's up with your love affiar with tootoo? There's pleanty of guys who do what he does but better. They can actually play the game to. As for those saying they'd take him over Maltby in a second, I bet Trotz would rather have a guy who can kill some Pk's in the playoffs over a guy who'll average 4 mins a game in the P.O.s and put the team down short handed.

From your point of view wouldn't it be stupider to sign him after the playoffs? What if he DOES come up big? More production means more money, no? Besides, I'm sure there taking more into account than just playoff performance.

I'm not criticizing anyone for wearing a visor. I actually think it's stupid not to. I just thought the rule was if you instigate a fight (which tootoo did) with a visor on, you got tossed. And really just going by last night, I'd say Maltby was more effective than tootoo was, no? tootoo is hardly Probert, give me a break.

I don't see how they could ever call a delay of game though. What if me and 5 friends went down to Nashville without any Wings gear, snuck in cat fish and kept throwing them on the ice in order to get a delay of game? I guess to make it simpler what's to stop opposing teams fans from throwing things in order to get a power play for their team?

Your probably right, but not me. What happend there was borderline sucker punch IMO. Bootland was playing smart and tried to draw a power play, which he did. That should've been a double minor for tootoo and nothing for bootland. Or if your going to call the fight, tootoo should've been tossed for instigating a fight with a visor on. Either way the refs were horrible and clearly one sided last night. As expressed by Babs in the post game interview. tootoo is a punk, playing that way he'll get his soon enough, maybe not from bootland or the Wings, but sometime, it's going to catch up with him.

I don't think Nashville is a "real" rival. For example Maltby laughed last night when Keating tried to liken it to the Wings-Avs rivalry. It's a pre-fab or "forced" rivalry for sure, just on schdule alone. But the race for top seed is helping it along. I think alot of what they due in Gaylord is pretty lame, (chants, catfish, ect...) but it doesn't really bother me. I find it comical and more high school pep rally than pro hockey, but whatever. Let them have their fun. As far as sterotypes go, I don't think any single person should be judged or lumped into one group, but alot of them are true. Detroit is full of crime, crackheads, destroyed bulidings, ect. Although 9 times out of 10 that element of the city isn't going to be at a Wings game. I love detroit and spend alot of time in the city, but it doesn't bother me when people talk s***, cause alot of it's true. I don't see why everyone gets so worked up about some comments made on a message board.

When did i do that? The most I've done is dispute the fact that people try to state of your paycheck is in direct corralation to playoff performance. Just not the case. Never did a "ha-ha, look how good dats is i told you so" and I never will. That's something ya'll will realize on your own.

2/3's of the Wings top line out. Hasek (#1 goalie out) that alone has a bigger impact on the Wings than the preds injuries due them. Bert/Forsberg. Sammy and Cleary 2/3's of the second line out. Don't see how Nashville was worse off.

Yeah. Actually last night, Mickey was complaining about a few calls aganist the Preds. As ridiculous as some of his statements are, he always gives credit where its due to other teams, and calls the Wings out when need be. He never tries to spew false crap about other teams so the fans can sit at home like "hur, hur hur!!, that's what I'm talkin bout!"

I don't see why alot of people get so worked up anyway. All it is, is computer tough guys. Give me a break. I'd bet 98% of the s*** talkers wouldn't say anything to anyones face on either side. Besides the fact alot of people have taken being labled and turned it into a thing of pride. I for one love telling people when I go out of town that I live 10 mins. outside of Detroit. The reactions are funny. I have family all over the country north south east west, I don't care what some dumbasses on the internet have to say about them or where they live.

If there was the odd boo, it was because they had to sit there for like an hour before they came to the decision to cancell the game. I'm sure after the intial dissapointment of the game being completly canceled had past, they realized it was for the best. All that being said, I'm a Wings fan and I think that alot of fans are either fair weather, or spoiled/greedy.

There all fine except Cleary, Sammy and Kopecky. If it were playoffs, Z, bert, and Dom would be playing. I bet there all back on the ice within 2 weeks except Kopecky.

I'm thinking he might be back a bit earlier than first thought. probably like 7-10 days. I don't know if Z being hurt has any bearing or not on the timetable for Berts return, but if he's back before Z, I'd like to see what a line of Franzen-Dats-Bert could do.
