To put player on the replica isn't that bad...it doesn't cost much anyway! Edit: All Star Sports would put it on if the Zone charged to much. I believe the guy at All Star Sports used to the guy that was in charge of the stitching for the griff's if I'm not mistaken (or drunk).

My understanding of the cause is this: Rosehill hit a Griffin, and got a 2 minute penalty when it should have been a 5, easy. Amadio took exception, and when he got out of the box went after him. After that all hell broke loose. I was listening with a few minutes left in the third, and Kaser explained it that way. As for coaching, last year I blame the "issues" on our captain, as well as some of the players that are gone now. The team was divided. I think this team needs to do the little things, and quit shooting at the crest on the goalie's jersey, and we will be fine.

Depending on your area, try the Uccelo's in Caledonia. You just take M-37 south of GR, and you'll see it on your left, just before 84th St. They have 6 or 7 big screens, and the bar is surrounded in TV's...

Yeah, The Griffs actually have a WIN streak going! Beat up on Houston 7 - 2, Mursak and Kindl get into fights. Hopefully we can sweep Houston!

Well the last time we played SA, they spanked us, bad! We need to come out and show them we aren't the same team that lost by big margins in those two games. Hopefully there will be enough people at the arena to make it obvious.... This storm might make it a 1k (if that) crowd. Larsson started off sluggish, and then stepped up his game - well good enough to get us the win. I'm going to echo some of the same comments already, Mursak and Tardiff are playing hard every game. Giving Mursak the playing time has really done alot for him. He's noticeable on every shift. He is intercepting/breaking up passes, playing the body, and even scoring goals now. Tardiff is doing everything he's been doing for a few years now. My favorite suprise this year is still Williams. He is going crazy, and kicking some ass in the process. This has been a fun 6 home games.

This team is looking really good, so far. There have been a couple guys that really stand out to me, Jeremy Williams, Jamie Tardiff, Mursak, and Larsson. The hustle is insane for the 3 of them, and Larsson is seeng every shot, and doing a good job not giving up rebounds. Williams has a sweet shot, and is doing a good job getting scoring chances on just about every shift. Mursak is shooting more, using his speed, and even taking the body. He has improved a TON since last year. I still find it hard to root for Newburry, and the first 2 home games was him in my eyes perfect. He was getting knocked down and would skate away intimidated. When he got jumped at the end of the third game, and then proceeded to jump a guy for his second fight, it turned a corner. He's being pest, but he's also not backing down now. He will hit a player, and then jaw at them, which is a good thing in my eyes. I still don't know if I can root for him though.

I'll be there in my usual seats in 108! Less than a week away!

Downey took the stupidest penalty ever for that 2 + 10. He gets the penalty, then sees Fitzgerald coming off the bench, so he spears him in the stomach/balls. A Moose player that also jumped over the boards skates over like he is going to knock Downey out. Downey throws his gloves and grabs the dude. The guys skates away and Downey gets escorted to the box. Keane is over there talking to the ref about what just happened, and Downey skates over to him to talk more s***. He then lets the ref have it, too. Total BS, we got LUCKY he only got the minor to hurt the team. This team is playing a completely different style than they did against Hamilton. They are trying to play a defensive game, when they can't do it. We don't have defense, we haven't all year. We need to get the moose into a run and gun type of game. Let us show our speed. The moose are just outplaying the Griffs. If you're in the area, get your tickets for Wednesday, it might be the last game of the year.

Holy crap that was a sweet game to go to. To start the game, Howard was shaky at best. The first goal was soft, and for the the rest of the first period he was giving up juicy rebounds, and not getting in good position. He settled down after the 1st, and looked pretty solid the rest of the way. Jozsa and Stafford had a s*** in the 2nd where they couldn't connect on a pass, and therefore couldn't get the puck out of the Griff end. In the 3rd, the team decided a 1 goal game was good enough, and came out playing all defense. They would get the puck, hang on to it as long as possible, then dump it down the ice. Something clicked in their heads, and they decided to get more aggressive, which allowed the goal to go up 3 to 1. Hamilton came out trying to be physical (see cheap) to start the game, but the ref made it painfully clear that wasn't going to be allowed. It completely took their game away from them, and allowed us to be finesse almost all game. Hamilton was not going to beat us when they couldn't grind us down. Bring on the Moose!

Holy Crap! That was an intense game. Hamilton had absolutely nothing going for them all night. This team shut down every good chance they had, what a change from the end of Wednesday's game. We play like this on Sunday, and we easily get the W - and the series. But hey, since we won, I'm making the trip out on Sunday for the game(s). It's going to be sweet.

That's why I think Oulahen and McGrath are sorely missed, maybe Oulahen more so. They are both responsible defensively, as well as offensively.
