I guess I would compare myself to Brian Rafalski in terms of size and somewhat style of play. Though my vision and hockey sense are my biggest strengths and I got that from Pavel Datsyuk. Just put Rafalski for me.

So the women's hockey team I coach is going to Michigan next weekend for some big hockey games. I'll be in Wayne (Michigan), Hudsonville (Grand Valley), and East Lansing (Michigan St). I really want to buy a nice wings hat since the last one I got, I ordered it online and it didn't fit right. Keep in mind that no store in Massachusetts sells hockey hats other than Bruins and Rangers. This will be my first time ever in the state of Michigan. I am very very excited since I've been a huge Wings' fan since 95. So if any of you are familiar with any of these places, and know of a good place that sells Red Wings merchandise, please let me know. I plan on wearing my Yzerman jersey as much of the trip as possible. Also if any of you live in these areas, and want to come check out a college women's hockey game, please do. Dats, Z, Franzen, and Hossa combined for only 1 assist last night despite the team scoring 6 goals and dishing out 11 assists. It was great to see Cleary and Filppula get multi point efforts. Also, Hudler gets about half his points on the PP so 2 even strength goals in the 1st period had to give him a nice boost of confidence. Then again, Hudler is playing with as much confidence as anyone on the team right now.

I agree. I know our defensive game/goaltending is down from what it was a year ago but we need to enjoy this year rather than criticize every little thing that goes wrong. We are still the defending champs. We still score goals. We still have the greatest fans. We still have PAVEL DATSYUK. PS: I went to the Wings/B's game in Boston on Saturday night and met some of the nicest people in the world. They all had one thing in common...they were all Red Wings fans!

I'm going to the game tonight. Since I live in Mass, I've only seen the Wings when they come to Boston. This will be my 4th Wings/B's game. Should be a great game since the Wings own the best road record and the B's own the 3rd best home record.

if we did get Hossa, our top 2 lines could look something like this: Cleary, Dats, Hossa Filp, Z, Holmer or maybe Filp, Dats, Holmer Cleary, Z, Hossa either way, it looks very pretty
