Living in Mass, I was able to see Stuart play for the Bruins and honestly, I was not impressed. He turns a lot of pucks over and he gets beat a lot. I must be one of the few Wings fans who doesn't want Stuart to come to Detroit.

Awesome, I haven't seen a wings game since 2004 when they came to Boston and now I'll be able to see them again in Boston next season. However, they really need to get rid of this aweful schedule.

I just hope the new schedule has the wings playing at least 1 home and 1 away game vs every team. I don't need to see the wings play the blue jackets 8 times next year.

It seems that people have Zetterberg playing on the wing on Datsyuk's line but also playing center on a different line... I'm just curious, but do you think the wings are better if Dats and Z are on the same line or are on different lines? I'd like to see Filipula-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Grigorenko-Zetterberg-Bertuzzi Cleary-Draper-Franzen Maltby-Kopecky-Samuelsson Lidstrom-Kronwall Lebda-Schneider Lilja-Chelios Hasek Osgood if we get rid of Lang, Calder, and Markov and re-sign Hasek, Bertuzzi, Chelios, and Schneider for the right price...then I like our chances next year

I completely agree with you, Lilja deserves at least a B- or B IMO. He made 1 mistake but was always bringing a physical presence and stepped it up after Schneider went down.

here are my grades based on everyone's playoff performance... Chelios - A (IMO the best player in the playoffs for the wings, +7 rating along with 7 points, 45 years old!) Datsyuk - A (streaky at times but 8 goals and 16pts) Lidstrom - A (led team with 18pts, only 6 PIM) Zetterberg - A- (solid performance) Cleary - A- (power play, short-handed, physical presence, etc etc) Holmstrom - B+ (no one else can do what he does) Hasek - B+ (a couple bad games but kept the wings in the playoffs) Franzen - B+ (led team with +8 rating and scored big goal against Calgary) Bert - B (slow start but strong finish) Sammy - B (same as Bert) Filippula - B (got the wings going in the playoffs) Lilja - B (stepped it up in the playoffs) Schneider - B (bummer) Lebda - B- (decent) Quincey - B- (nice fill-in) Lang - C+ (scored big goal in San Jose, that's about it) Draper - C+ (won lots of faceoffs) Markov - C+ (physical but no scoring) Maltby - C (only 1 goal but it was a beauty) Kopecky - C (only 4 GP) Hudler - C (only 6 GP) Calder - C- (1pt in 13 games) Note: I didn't watch every second of every playoff game, but from what I did see, these are their grades IMO crap, I didn't see the one already made cause I was making this one, so just ignore this/delete this thread, thanks.

If the wings keep playing like they did in the 2nd period, good things will come very impressed with Bertuzzi and Chelios and of course Dats and Z

I'm just excited to see the most exciting player to watch in the NHL for the next 7 years! IMO

it feels good knowing that we have some depth up front... as of right now, I'd want Maltby to sit because he's been struggling but since he's been in the playoffs many times, I know he'll be ready...so in that case, I'd want Sammy to sit
