Babcock said point blank that Abs was better at center and he couldn't put him at the Wing position, whereas he could Leino. Personally I still think Abs brings more than Leino at ANY position based on what I've seen so far, but that's why he coaches and I just yell and scream at the TV.

Hey guys, I just won a Winter Classic RBK Edge jersey (with fight strap and all that jazz), so I am pretty sure it's the authentic. I wear a size 50 in the "old style" Nike authentics version from the late 90's. I was wondering if I would still take a 50 in these new "form fitting" ones, or if I should go one size higher for comfort? I'm in Texas, so I won't be wearing anything other than a thin t-shirt under these.... EVER. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks for your help! GO WINGS!

Only a couple things I ask: 1.) 60 (or more if needed) minutes of quality Red Wing hockey the likes of which we have not seen this year 2.) NO f*cking stupid penalties taken to swing momentum away from the home team 3.) Total composure if the Wings don't get the first goal or find themselves down for any period of time 4.) Urgency, but not panic. 5.) Speed. Force. HITS on the opposition not seen since the Havlat one. 6.) Total defensive clinic. 7.) Accurate, tape to tape passing by the Wings. I know it's alot to ask, but as my dad always told me, "it can't hurt to ask... what's the worst that they can say, 'no'?" LETS GO WINGS!!!

You aren't missing much unless you are a Pens fan. Thus far.. Epic fail of the PP, PK, passing, shooting and defense. Hossa looks ok, but is taking it behind the net and then shooting into 5 bodies in the crease. So far, that strategy is not paying off in spades. Might I suggest another tact? Perhaps we should prevent them from scoring any more and pot three more for the guys in red and white? My whininess has abated for now... my "hope" tank is around the same place as Z's energy tank, but we'll see how much worse (or better) this gets. Like watching a trainwreck... here comes the third!

Time for Marian Friggin' Hossa to step up with his usual Game 4 awesome-itude and pot 3 goals and a couple helpers. Z and Dats shutdown every offensive chance the Pens think they might have and we crush them 6-0. MAF is chased after letting the fourth goal in off his butt in the beginning of the second period. Crush. Kill. Destroy!!!! LETS GO WINGS!

The same one your mom used, SliderJeff tongue-flavored, why? j/k You guys need to take a giant Xanax and chill. The Wings played a solid 30 mins out of 60 and nearly won a must-win game for the Pens. Yeah, some of the missed calls sucked ass and I was pissed off about it at first, but s*** happens. Our PK continues to smell like a pig farm in August. I was pissed off at Ozzie at first, but at least one of those was a deflection. The missed 6-men was positively infuriating... as were several of the blatant head hits. I'm ok with obstruction calls.. but call it consistently. Set the expectation with the teams before the puck drops and call it according to what you said... for all 60 or more minutes. Don't change things with 9 minutes to go. Call the dirty s*** after the whistle, before the whistle and during the whistle. It doesn't seem quite as bad as the f*Ducks, but they are douchebags just the same. Hugs and smooches to all the LGW gang. We'll get 'em next game and the one after that. Wow. Just. Wow. Ok, this pretty much played out the way we all thought it would. A call that wasn't made the whole game on Gill or Or-pig leads to the game winning goal on the resultant power play. I liked the hustle of the Wings for the most part that period. A couple scary moments, defensively... but we got damn close a handful of times. Friggin Sammy has easily got his "Sammy hattrick", as another poster put it so well. I want to see two quick goals by the Wings to start off the period and then a solid defensive effort to shut these motor scooters down. CRUSH THE PENS! LETS GO WINGS!

Ok, Holy s***, they play SLAYER at Pens games??!?!? I have to say, I love the Wings, but I can only take so much Motown and the same damn tunes year after year. That being said... KICK THEIR ASS, WINGS!
