I think by "exchange" he meant taking Blow-a-man off the ice to reduce their defensive core even more. Let's face it, Kopecky does little to reduce our on-ice threats, but taking the *ucks already reduced D-man core down by one more serves the team well.

Most of the *ucks don't wear jocks either... I mean, why would they need them if their balls are protected by always being in the Versus announcer's mouths?

The blood is a different color not necessarily because of WHERE it comes from, but rather how much oxygen it's carrying. That being said, I hope that Wiz is ok, but out for the series. Better period, but not great by any stretch. I'm hoping this lights a fire under the Wings' butts and gets our superstars producing. Right now, they aren't real visible.

And here I thought I was the only one that was tired. Apparently the whole Wings team is waiting for an alarm clock to go off to wake their asses up. Did Z even win ONE faceoff that period? He's certainly not looking healthy to my eyes. Pavs is still dishing out the hits, but I think he's starting to grip the stick too tight after being o-fer in the series so far. "The Invisibles" in this series are too many to name. Ozzie showed up for this game, but few others have... at least in the first period. Offense is anemic, at best. The power play had little if any "power" in it at all. Babcock needs to work some magic here. I'm not panicking here, but I am thoroughly disheartened to see this play. And I agree... this is looking like 2006 all over again. If play like this continues, I may not remain awake for the whole game.

Does anyone have the slightest idea how to tell which of the two stations that DirecTV will use to broadcast the game tonight will be Ken and Mickey (or whomever)? I need to TIVO the game while I am out and don't want to get the rotten Canfvck's announcers instead of the home town boys. I think it's on channels 776 and 777 and right now I have 777 set to record. Is there any rhyme or reason how they assign the channels to which teams? Regards, Jeff

I have to say, I thought tonight's game was awesome, both as a hockey fan and a Wings fan. Simply marvellous end to an awesome season. Congrats to the boys in the Red and White! All in all, the Wings destroyed the Pengoons and STILL couldn't friggin capitalize. So many chances. I'm hoping our conditioning comes through here in the 5th and we jetison them off the ice in a sea of Cindy tears as Lids hoists the Cup in triumph. C'mon boys...
