Dude, don't you think I would if I could. DTV is only showing the HNIC feed on CBC as part of Center Ice. I'm in Texas, so just tuning into FSD is about as easy for me as it is for you in Sweden. Just re-checked and sure enough, there is an FSD feed further down in the channel list. Weird. They almost always group the games together. Thanks for the idiot-check. mindfly.

Unfortunately, I have that "blowout" feeling for tonight. The Olympians will have their minds on catching flights to Vancouver coupled with that fact that they are still in the funk they've been in all season. I'll say 6-1 Sens for the final score. Ditto. See Jiri Fischer prior to his injury. He wasn't the be-all end-all of defenseman his first year in the big leagues. It took him time to develop and only when he was hitting his stride did his health take him out of the game. Give Big Rig a chance before we ride him out of town.

I think I can sum up that period in a single word... "BLECH!" More injuries. More total defensive collapse. More epic brainfarts with the puck. I know I SHOULD be used to this by this point in the season, but it still is coming as a surprise.

I'm calling it quits, gang. The opponents goalie is playing out of his mind and anything they throw at the net appears to have eyes, so I'm not investing any more beauty sleep time in watching them lose. Better luck next game. I'll catch the highlights tomorrow or watch the rest of the TIVO'd game then. G'night.

Boo hiss. Wings looked ok, but not great. Once again, can't bury the chances we have. Our D looks completely lost out there at times. A number of shoulda-been penalties by the Ducks that go uncalled... but the obvious stick hold on Stuart gets called as interference on DRW, of course. Oh well. Two seeing-eye goals and that makes it 2-0 bad guys. Let's hope we find the back of the twine more often than than do at the end of the game.

I gotta admit. After the second goal off the second coming of Captain Rubberpads (CuJo) and the subsequent crappy play by our boys, I was thinking I was going to be able to hit the sack with a relatively clean conscience knowing that I wouldn't be missing anything if I just went to bed since they were just going to lay another turd on the ice. Color me ashamed. In the blink of an eye, it's tied 2-2 and the Wings have life and shots on goal. Also, did anyone else think that Kronner had tore the s*** out of his knee again when he lost his skate blade? I was like, "Oh f***! Not again!" Glad it was just a skate malfunction. I'm friggin tired... but I got to say... GO WINGS!
