I think today is the first time I've been on LGW since hockey season...ha ha!

I was just thinking that if I got a new Red Wing jersey I wouldn't know who to get. I mean, everyone I like leaves. I have an Ozzie one (for the record he left too...but came back!) well I have a couple Ozzies, but I don't know if I can muster enough love for any other Wings...I was thinking Huds but he's gone now....hmmm

I still hate the Ducks more than any other team in the NHL.

Ducks is worse, because I really do hate them worse, and they really played dirtier. I hate the fact that the Pens won the Cup though, only because the NHL wanted it SOOOO bad. Though that is probably part of the reason they won.

You guys, we do need a goalie who can score more goals. Osgood is touted as a goal scoring goalie, but did he score one goal in the single playoffs? No. He is clearly a deadbeat.

I agree that we were too injured. I hate when people say you can't use injuries as an excuse. If you are playing through an injury it WILL affect your performance. How could it not? I felt like they were a bit bored in the regular season, but stepped it up in the playoffs and really wanted it, but could not sustain the level all the way through for whatever reason (possibly just lagging fatigue and/or injuries). They played a lot of games to get these 15 wins. I'm proud of them.

He was our best player on the ice most nights in these playoffs (even in some of the losses) I have always known he's a star but always glad to see him shining bright! Thanks Ozzie!

Game 7 in the Stanley Cup finals is pretty epic! I know the Wings will win! Go Wings!

If the Wings lose, I'm going to move to Dallas. I'll watch a season of Marc Crawford handling the Stars and feel thankful for what I have as a Wings fan

The one good thing about it is...we've never had a game 7 in the finals (with this team). It will be really exciting. I know it will be tough, but (for instance) one of my best ever playoff memories was in 1996 against the Blues....game 7 and I think 3 OT's at 0-0 .. maybe it was 2 OT's but in any case Stevie Y was the hero. We didn't win that year, but it was one of the best moments.

I think the worst case scenario would be that we win the Cup and somehow Crosby or Malkin gets the Conn Smythe. I don't think it would happen, but with all the Crosby love that would really....grrrrr....

Ha ha, I am lucky (I guess) I am working. But I need someone to give me updates. My phone fell in water, and so I only have my mom's phone right now so I don't really have anyway to get updates. I need game updates, and then to know when Ozzie gets the Conn Smythe. I'm very bummed I can't watch, but I might catch the end...

I don't really understand all of the Hossa hate for the following reasons. 1. We are one win away from winning the Stanley Cup, the team has had an amazing season overall. 2. We won last year without Hossa, so what special magic is he supposed to bring...whether we have him or not we should be able to win. 3. I've never been up on Hossa from the beginning...nothing really against him or anything but I don't see (with our all-star caliber of a team) how he could possibly perform to everyone's expectations on the Wings. If we had already won the Cup (in a sweep for instance) people would have given him more credit. I have been watching the games and have not thought all too much of Hossa on the whole and have commented that I didn't think he was worth all the money, and that I didn't particularly care if we kept him or not....however, the extreme anger towards him seems a bit unjustified. I was actually surprised to come on here and read this. He's had his moments where he's contributed. I don't think he's been great all of the time, but it seems a bit of a knee jerk reaction when the Wings are struggling a bit.

Ghost hunters was pretty freaky...at least the one that is on now, was...blahhh!!!

I was watching that I think...was it on TLC? I was like...what is this??? so I changed the channel and started watching Ghost hunters instead.

Sometimes I am just listening to the announcers and you know they want Pittsburgh to win, and I swear they are just trying to start stuff. Trying to give Pittsburgh reasons to whine after the game and excuses for why they aren't good enough. It's not because we are better, obviously we cheat!

I have been giving so much praise to all of our young guys in these playoffs. There are certain key players who have made a huge difference and where would we be without them!

I'm elusive like something that is elusive I agree on the Oz for Conn Smythe comment (of course) but I feel like it's a make-up trophy for last year now...
