That game was crazy. I had it on in bed, but fell asleep...woke up and they were in 4OT, and watched for a bit. It seemed fitting for a Sedin to get the goal, because by the end that line seemed like it had the most jump to it, so it wasn't flukey... I hope this DOESN'T happen to us. It would really hurt both teams to go into that many OT's right away and weaken the strength of the team, imo. Plus, I can't stay up that late, but I'm sure I will!

Hmm...with Bert out, I have no playoff jersey to wear...what should I do? I'm not sure if I should wear Ozzie, or steal OsGod's Zetterberg jersey...or something...

What is this EMU that you speak of? 30,000 seats would be ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. But let me get this straight. You want to kick out all the season ticket holders, then try to sell out a 30K stadium? SURE...good luck. I know it's a bummer when you can't get that ticket to that ONE game that you want to go to, but that's not really incentive to kick out all the season ticket holders. Especially money wise, and this is a business. I'm a season ticket holder, and I love the Wings, we were on the ticket waiting list for 10 years. We have to spend $4000 to ensure that we will have the ticket for that ONE game we wanted to go to. (Obviously we go to more than one game, but you get the point). If you start over at square one you will still have an arena filled with corportate ticket holders because no one can afford to pay for lower bowl tickets on a consistant basis. Upper bowl tickets are also a chore. Have to sell off a lot and such...and I'm sure it'll go up even higher with the new arena...and don't even get me started on the playoffs. Unless ticket prices go down...I don't see why everyone's complaining about who's selling out the Joe because no one can flipping afford to take their place.

Agreed. I actually had 'em first and changed it for a myriad of reasons (grammar nazis, making sure foreigners understand, fear of apostrophes, etc) but I like that better.

The thing is....many places sell replicas for close to $150. A 1 color lettered jersey is NOT worth it. That's the prices you'd pay for, say, a lettered Kings jersey. Put up a message for Huddles, Lang, Bert, Lebda and Ozzie for me. Okay, maybe that's a BIT much...but definitely a 'GO HUDDLES'

Honestly replica is as good as authentic for most fans. Authentic just has the strap and such. Which I don't generally need while cheering on my team

The one thing about Hasek is this. Most likely if we struggle a couple of games and decide not to score he can pull us through a few and we may even come out with a win or 2. If we don't get our scoring act together WE WON'T WIN. But even if we don't score a lot, but a handful of goals, I think that we can win with Hasek -- at least most of the time.
