I want Lang to re-sign with us, but definitely not at his current salary, but I really don't imagine another team will sign him either for that much, so it is a possibility. I *do* think it's funny that everyone's all: "Oh, he was so good on the other team..." ha ha. Wow, is the grass EVER greener outside of Detroit. Like Whitney...he played on the third and fourth line here, and never got a chance to shine here with all the talent we had. I can't wait till we get our next player that can be the next disappointment.

I think Fedorov deserves to have his number retire here, though I agree that it will probably not happen. Reguardless of what people think of him, I know that he loved the team, and put his heart and soul into the team. Also, he was one of the best Red Wings to ever wear the sweater. -2nd ALL TIME playoff scoring leader (to Stevie Y) in about 20 less games -4th ALL TIME in career points in 500 or so less games -3 Stanley Cups = integral player and leader -Hart Trophy -2 Selke Trophies -Runner up to the Calder -Pearson -Numerous all-star games All as a Wing. He's one of the best Red Wings in history, whether he is not here now or not, I think he deserves to be up there. Anyway, who would ever wear 91?

I have a question. How do we KNOW that Lang will leave. How do we know that we will not re-sign him? Has The Red Wing organization, or Robert Lang said this? Because it seems like common knowledge around the boards. Depending on what happens in the playoffs, I think anything could happen.

You would have to ask people who are fans of other teams that aren't making the playoffs. They are still watching because they love the team and they love hockey.

While I don't think we *need* the Trophy...I wouldn't mind having it. It's like being a Pirate, you go in, take ALL the treasure you can, and come out. Ha ha. Sure, you want the big chest of gold, but you don't pass by any diamonds and rubies you see on the way...oh no you don't! You pick them up, too. Of course your MAIN goal is the Stanley Cup, but since only 1 team wins it every year, it would be nice to walk away with something. Only 1 team is the best in the league, too, and it's over A LOT MORE games. This Trophy is the marathon, and the Cup is the sprint... It's always more exciting to watch a sprint, but don't discount the marathon.

Hmm. Without Lidstrom...let's put it this way...we don't always win. I think we will see a big difference. And no Krons. But Lebda is back...but will he be 100%? UGH. Ailing Defense. So, it's not an uber-important game. I don't see us winning it short of 3 things. 1. Dom totally steals the game, stands on his head, and it is as awesome as you can get. (Pretty much what our goaltending has had to do to win any games lately) 2. Our Offense actually puts up a good number of points. 3. Columbus just flat out sucks. We need at least 2 of those 3 things to win, because with that D...hmm...I hope I'm wrong. But no score prediction as always.

Yeah, but Cleary almost always scores on the shootout. I approve of him in the shootout. Bert hasn't scored yet on the shootout, but he's had some good moves. Flip was horrible the last time he was in a shootout...he just shot it at the goalie's chest. I would like to see Hudler once in a while replacing Bert, or as a 4th shooter, but we didn't get to the fourth shooter last night.

I'd take Dats over Drury. If only because I can't say Drury without sounding drunk.

It's a bit over $100 per...at least for the first few rows... up to at least the $54 range...after that it's close to $100, and I think the cheapies are almost $60 BEFORE service charges unfortunately.
