Can't wait for the game! It'll be really exciting! Go Wings! No prediction, as always.
-
I am VERY superstitious about choosing who I want to play. I don't care, whatever happens happens. ANYONE can knock you out, and I don't wanna pick!
-
Definitely. He would add a lot of offense to our D, without making stupid defensive mistakes. Also, if a forward goes down and we need him to be in another position....short of goaltender he can play them all.
-
Oh, don't I wish. That would be perfect. Fedorov is one of the best playmakers in the game. I also wouldn't mind him on defense at all. He still has lots left in him. I also would LOVE for him to retire here.

I have nothing against Maltby, but I've noticed that he has less and less of a role on the team. When Bert comes back and with the addition of Calder he's just moving farther and farther down the lines. I hope he stays and has a place, it just seems to me like he's being edged out little by little.
-
At least Huds has been doing stuff out there. He's deserved the ice time he's got, and if he keeps it up he deserves more. If he goes into a slump...he deserves less. It's pretty simple. I think he will develop into a fine player!

That is some good news!

It's still silly to not try. Especially BEFORE the playoffs if possible. If Babs can make more effective lines he should try to do so. He will know better than us because he watches the guys in practice so he will know better who will work well together. I can say I think Bert would be good on a line with Datsyuk, but then maybe he wouldn't be. It's just speculation on my part. I think Bert will ultimately be with Z and Pavs or with Calder and Lang. Either way, we are breaking up a huge scoring line.
-
I don't know why everyone keeps saying this. Yes, you do. And it's irrelevant probably because the line is alreadey broken up. But even when it's not, why not try new line combos to see what works. If the new combos don't work put it back. What's the harm. Relying on one line and refusing to ever change will just put us in a world of hurt when the line stops clicking or someone is injured.

This one is definitely the best. It has everything you need...it's catchy and it gives a hint to the players of what to do
-
Well, we didn't win with him IN the linup last year, and he was excellent. This will force others to step up. I do not relish playing without him, but I think if forced we still have a solid team Hopefully things will go better than planned, however, and luck will prevail on our side! The problem is...even if we do get him back...how long till he's his old Zetterberg self? Will having an injury be more of a liability out there than a help? So definitely we want him 100% and I doubt we will have that by the playoffs, and even then it'll take awhile for him to find his groove again.

I definitely agree that these should be the top 2 lines: Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Bertuzzi Calder - Lang - Hudler Assuming all in the parties come back healthy, and that Bert fits in well there. Man, Calder has been so good, do you expect that Bert, no matter how well he does, will be a dissappointment? We have such depth that it's hard to pick line numbers, true. But I bet Babs will only run about 3 lines so it's hard for me to pick which lines should be 3rd and which should be 4th Perhaps: Franzen - Flip - Holmstrom Draper - Malby - Cleary ---------------- Hudler-Lang-Calder does not fail to impress, and I'm sick of the continued dogging of Lang, although I don't know how much of it is just joking. No matter what you think of him, he's been getting the job done, and imo will be one of the ones who can continue to get it done in the playoffs. He's one of the best forwards right now. edit: Look who is star #1 on NHL.com

That is NOT a good slogan. It just...reminds me of something else, and is just bad

Chris Osgood! Always has been. for many reasons. I love that guy...great team guy, loves the Wing, and is just the kind of guy to root for. Plus, you know, it's fun to say "Ozzie! Ozzie!" as someone else said. Second is Huddles
-
I like Flip, and I've heard a lot of people say that Flip is better, but I honestly think Huds has been better and done more in less playing time. Also, very timely goals. Imagine what he'd do with more time. He's been very awesome. Again, showed the same tonight...awesome. Hopefully Flips isn't too hurt though.

Most defnitely

That line should be the top 3. They are taking care of business when business needs to be takin' care of :!:
-
Ha ha! SWEET! Loved that game....loved the b2b wins
-
Oh, I hate jinxes... GRAR. This music makes me tense.
-
That would be awesome...maybe if I put up my Huds ava he'll get it...
-
Don't even get me started on Calder...he's fantastic on that line too!
-
Huddles almost with the big 3...darn...
-
Huddles was like +14 before the game...now he's probably +16 or so...wow. He's really better than he gets credit for, and with more ice time he's been awesome, and either totally elevating Lang's game, or finally someone decent on his line to score. I'm really loathe to take him off the line in the playoffs. I love this line...it's our best!
-
This is why I don't want to break up this line. This is why I wanna see Huddles in the playoffs!

OMG...see HUDDLES TIMELY GOALS! I LOVE THAT KID
