I would prefer Ozzie to be starter, but since I doubt that will happen, I will settle for a rotation. His record is almost spotless though. It's so frustrating.

I am with you. They seem to motivate/feed off each other. Just because it hasn't worked before doesn't mean it won't now. Why don't we do something dynamic if we have the tools to do so? No one has two goalies that are playing THIS good. Osgood, our .. um .. backup? is the best goalie in the league. Hasek, is Hasek, he looked bad at the beginning of the season, but is playing as good as Osgood right now. They are both vets who can handle it and have won Cups and are both playing out of their heads right now. People have to have a certain thing in their mind of what will win a Cup when there's no set formula. This might not work, but neither might starting Ozzie, Hasek, Luongo, etc. Only one team wins. haha. Um. I've never seen why a tandem couldn't work in the playoffs but coaches are loath to try it. I think the playoffs are too stressful for Dom, on his body. Tandem could be a good solution. Ozzie, imo, deserves playoff starter...he's number one goalie IN THE LEAGUE. Not on our team....in the league. When we were hurrahing Ozzie in October that was one thing...but halfway through he's only gotten BETTER. He's 1 in GAA and Sv %. Dom is playing incredible. Horrible start..playing great now. I thought he was totally washed up, but he's clearly not. We have 2 assest who CLEARLY feed off each other for either competitiveness or from the support of knowing someone's got their back. WHY the hell not try it? it might be a good strategy...think of the teams trying to strategize...not being able to rely on the roster being the same 2 nights in a row. That's kind of intimidating. Someone beats Ozzie in night 1 can't use the same move on Dom in game 2. hahah...it would be the biggest psychological advantage to have 2 great goalies and keep switching them around with different weaknesses. If we can get a goalie for cheaper...who has better stats than Ozzie does right now...yeah, go for it. Otherwise...Ozzie is starter.

Well, when you put it that way. No, I just am frustrated seeing Dom twice in a row with the way Ozzie's playing. B2B games makes it irrelevant I guess...but .. yeah.

Why is Dom in. I would like to win games, please, Mike Babcock. This is such BS. We have the number 1 goalie in league more or less, and he's backing up.

I am pretty sure they never have this year. I'm too lazy to look but Huds has scored 3 shootout goals I believe and I think this is the first time that Z scored when Huds scored. I haven't looked up the stats but it seems like Z never scores in the shootout. It's probably me just comparing his regulation time awesomeness to his shootout skills, but I don't know.

Haha, Man-Love-O-Meter Awesome I was surprised we won the shootout, very happy all 3 shooters scored. Truthfully I've lost a lot of faith in Z in shootouts. And Huds, well, he's not good it seems when the pressure is on...but it really wasn't tonight, he just sealed the deal...very good

I think the fact that Hasek hasn't been that good for the Wings (the same team Ozzie plays for) will help throw Ozzie in contention for the Vezina if he keeps his numbers up. And he has...and he's actually gotten better than he has when I couldn't stop praising him earlier this season.

15-1-1! Can we just keep putting him in and seeing if we can break some kind of record The wins keep on rolling in for Oz! Even if the Red Wings did manage to score 7goals tonight. haha.

I just want to point out....for anyone who doesn't know that Ozzie is: #1 in GAA still, and #2 in Save % in the whole league. He is also tied#2 in the league in WIns which is pretty awesome considering he's been sharing the starting position. Nabakov...the only person beating him with 17wins has 10 losses and 4 otl to Ozzie's 1 and 1. The only comparable goalie is Gerber who has 15 wins but only 4 losses and 1 otl. Ozzie is not a shutout leader which makes his stats that much more impressive. He's not had a lot of padding there with a couple of phenominal games and a couple of yucky games. Has he even had a truly bad game? I'm not sure. In short Ozzie = awesome. He's starting to deserve more recognition into things now.

Yep yep. I haven't updated the Oz-O-Meter in a few wins but I've been looking forward to this. He's so cool! We've been blessed as a team to have such a great goaltender for most of his career.

If I don't register at the end ... does my vote still count..? Because I haven't been doing that.
