I missed this game...so you can say I equal opportunity missed Hasek's game and Osgood's. No discrimination there. I wish I would have seen it. I am glad we got the win and don't have much to say other than that ... haha.

Dom has 2 good games and Ozzie is being shelved...what a flipping surprise...and people wonder. I'm glad Dom is showing signs that he is better but it's just annoying. I didn't see the game, which hurts me being able to comment too much. Too bad too as I guess I missed quite a lot, a hat trick, a flipped player and Huds scoring. Bah. I was OKAY with Dom in this game even though I thought it should have gone to Ozzie and it worked out well this way. But now Ozzie's sitting for a 3rd game...even though I understand the reasoning it is beyond frustrating. Yes, Dom has been great the last 2 games. Ozzie is still leading the league (top 5 in 3 stats: GAA, SV%, and wins). Well, it is good that we are winning and it's good that we have 2 goalies doing well.

I didn't watch the game, and I didn't see the hit, but all I've heard about is this stupid 'hit'. First of all I don't count it as a check really, because I hope he wasn't really intending it to be a check, as if goalies aren't fair game they shouldn't go running out checking people. But I think it was just one of those things that happen. Wouldn't happen to most goalies becuase they wouldn't play like that though. It's just one of the many multitudes of reasons why I hate Dom's playing style, honestly. I don't expect that he meant to injure. It would just be more convenient to hate that type of play if he did that to Datsyuk and he was on another team.

Let me clarify what I was saying, though it might not change what you think but reading back it would be a little ambiguous what I meant. I wasn't referring to last season. I meant...Dom is showing his age, which i think will be a liability in the playoffs. I do think he looked tired by the end of last playoffs, but we had other problems..such as defense. I can't remember what exactly I said now because I'm not looking at it but it was supposed to be 2 seperate statements. 1. Dom is showing his age 2. If that is so, it is a liability ESPECIALLY in the playoffs because it's such a long and arduous thing Not that that probably changed your answer, but I just wanted to clarify that I wasn't really referring to last season. He might have just slumped and be totally awesome for the rest of the year. Whoever is playing better in May Dom or Ozzie should play in the playoffs despite my or other's personal preferences.

That's the jersey I also want. I'm sure there's place you can buy them though. I'll keep an eye out. Ozzie was otherwise injured for the all-star game.

I am cool with Dom playing...Good...he had a good game...good. But Ozzie's been doing this game in and game out...and he's leading the league. He's 13-1-1 ... he's be very solid ... and for every good stop Dom has made this season Ozzie's made 10 great stops...so this is nice, but I'm not impressed. Ozzie is way more trustworthy in net right now...especially in the playoffs as Dom seems to be showing his age. I hope both tenders can stay healthy through the duration, but all things equal...Ozzie should get more starts.

Eh...whatever. Dom can establish a rhythm or whatever, but if Ozzie is perma-shelved I will be pissed. He's earned the #1 spot.

I just wanted to point out the obvious: I don't have to get off my ass to vote, I can vote right here sitting on my ass 100 times a day if I want.

I predict that Dom will play really really well..and then we'll argue about it for a week. Viva la goalie debate :-P

I always thought so too but was embarassed to say. Sometimes they make me laugh.

I don't think there needs to be more scoring. It's cool...but a well played low scoring game is just as good to me. The main reason I see that the NHL wants more scoring is becuase they want to draw in the crowd that is ADD and watches...basketball...or something. I don't care if the NHL is the least popular of the 4 major sports. It has its niche...that's cool. It's kind of the Rocky Horror Picture Show of sports...if no one else gets it...I don't really care, because I have fun doing it. Just my two cents on scoring...haha.

Not counting anyone has been a Red Wing at any point in time (Fedorov, Legace, Lang, Bertuzzi, Kozlov, and Whitney have all been favorites at one point - and once a Wing always a Wing...to me) Mark Parrish is probably my favorite never was a Wing. I also like: Spezza, DiPietro, Brodeur, Naslund, The Sedins (they scare me), I like most goalies.

Awww...ha ha. Ozzie needs hugs. I'm not Swedish, but I strongly believe a person needs 15 hugs per day, and I implement this in my day to day life.

I'm glad that he's finally getting some recognition...and no it won't last..but yay for now. Ozzie used to be one of the most beloved Wings way back in the day and you'd see Ozzie jerseys abound...and at the Joe the other night there were a ton of Ozzie jersies again. It was cool.

I dubbed him: Huddles and Little Ball of Awesome He is both!

If you just follow the law of goaltending in Detroit you will know who to point your finger at. So I will help you all out. 1. If we win with Ozzie in net...you can credit the team. 2. If we lose with Ozzie in net...you can blame Ozzie. 3. If we win the Hasek in net...you can credit Hasek. 4. If we lose with Hasek in net...you can blame the team. It is simple. You don't have to watch the games now...just follow the rules.

I am pleasantly surprised that Ozzie has gotten playing time, but I know the capacity he can play at. I have been most impressed with Zetterberg. I wasn't expecting him to be on the top in sccoring, or to be the force that he's been. Hudler...could do more with more minutes. And it makes me mad!

Ahh..haha...I don't like being filmed, or taken pictures of, so it makes me very nervous.

1. Ozzie has had some great games 2. If what you say is true...who cares who's in net...and why the hell do we need Lundqvist. You are talking out both sides of your mouth.

For the love of all that is hockey. Split of ZDH and put Z with huds and Franzen. Put Datsyuk with Homer and Flip. And watch in awe of all the great plays and goals, and so on and so forth.

I think it's good to start Hasek against a harder team. It'll give him some work for once which will help, and Ozzie's played quite a few games now...so it'll be good.
