Hudler was almost a TARGET for the Sharks....maybe because of his size, or maybe because of his skill. It makes no sense to continually dog a player who isn't even good. If the refs made the calls they need to make it isn't a problem, but they don't. And I don't know too many players who will score goals while being drug down to the ice. Hudler will get smarter with age and learn to use his small stature more to his advantage. He did manage to make some plays that are memorable and was noticable out there, imo. He will do even better with increased ice time. I think when he played he was better than a handful of Wings...not just Flip.

That's assuming we could get all those guys. I think that we'll try to keep Flip for sure out of all of them. Cleary and Franzen are question marks depending on how they play...and Hudler, it will just depend on how he develops and if he's not traded. Who else was he going to get? Better to get someone who's young and we know plays well with the team.

Kozlov did his job...and he was very good at scoring those clutch goals.

If he's lucky? come now...he got that this year with minimal ice time. He'll do THAT for sure again...and he's still learning a few tricks, so based on that...and more ice time, he should do well. it'll also depend on who his linemates are, but I think he will probably end up with Flip again...which will be good.

I guess that depends on what you think he needs to do. I think he does what he needs to do just fine. I guess if he needs to get into fights, and be our enforcer...well, yeah, he's not doing what he needs to do, but I'd rather just see him be a great winger/playmaker and get things done...like he does...yep! Ozzie's small, too, but if you turn your back on him he'll flip you. you can't underestimate the little guy.
