Offsides

It depends on if I've been drinking and/or dancing a lot at a wedding as to whether I lose my shoes. I always compensate for my lack of height with shoes that hurt a lot! lol. So, yeah. I never like to walk around in my shoes for more than a few minutes. That is why I always take on 2 people and weddings to get me stuff when I need it

I think Flip often looks flashier than Huds which is why most people give him the edge. But, I've always thought Datsyuk had the flash edge over Z and I think Z will end up being the better player when all is said and done. Well, I think Z is better now, but that's just me. Huds has that x-factor that makes him amazing...and he will be a very clutch player. While everyone is standing around scratching their heads...he is the guy who's scoring the goals. Plain and simple. He was sat a ton in the playoffs, but when he actually had a bit of ice time near the end of the season he was doing really well with it. I was sad he didn't get more of a chance in the playoffs, because I think he could have made a difference in the games he didn't play. He did make a difference in the games he did play...and even though he was outmuscled a lot in the Shark series (so many uncalled penalties) you could feel his presense out there.

I think Huds will be the better player. Flip for all of his finesse and awesomeness seems to do less with his ice time than Hudler does. He needs to overcome the size issue, and he'll be a better player. He was easier to take off the puck, but i think that a lot of the times in the playoffs that he was taken down it was clearly a penalty that should have been called, and we just don't get them. Flip played on the top line for part of the year, and I still thought Huds was better.

I hope we keep Lang and Huddles. I doubt we will keep Lang, but it would not bother me, but it looks like he's wanting more ice time than he can get on this team....it's just so good. I still like that he can score goals when no one else seems to be apt to do it. Not just in the playoffs, but he did that in the regular season as well. Hudler also seemed to have a tendancy towards being able to score goals when others weren't stepping up. His lack of ice time baffles me, because I think he puts his heart and soul into every shift. Yes, he's smaller, but size isn't everything. I think he's actually a better all around player than Flip, and has done more with his time...but that's just me. I guess that we'll see.
