Yes, I doubt he'll be what he was, but we have our star forwards already. I'm good with him being 80% of what he was...he'll be taking less money anyway

Alright..life and times of Offsides: (These have probably all been posted here at one time or another - you will get to see my many hair-dos lol) These are some of my best life moments in picture form and in chronilogical order. Yeah, it's too bad that me and Sergei aren't BFF though...that would be cool. No, when I talked to him in Columbus. I was actually afraid that he'd hate people from Detroit so I didn't even mention it, but when it came up he was like...super thrilled...I told him we couldn't really go visit him in Cali, so this was much better here. His eyes lit up at the mention of Detroit...I think he still loves it here. When Fedorov was in Detroit I used to work on his official site, so I used to have a connection, plus our friend of the family was his old PR guy who knew we loved him...ha ha. The cool thing was the Sergei always remembered that I was the person who drew a picture of him to have it signed. He's a really nice guy. ...and it hurts him when the fans boo him...I don't think he gets angry....just confused and hurt (from what I read) ^^ Agreed

When I talked to Sergei he seemed really excited and up on Detroit still. And so far as I know he still has a house here and his family lives here. I said previously that he might not want to come back. Ryan Smyth might not want to come here either...so everything's speculation. Nostalgia doesn't win Cups, but Sergei Fedorov does!

When he came back from suspension in his first game here we went down shook his hand and welcomed him back to the NHL. That's gotta count for something (OsGod's idea)

Here is proof that you have a normal OVAL shaped head: You see...Datsyuk almost perfectly fits in the perameters of an inverted triangle. Basically his head is a triangle with rounded edges...a candy corn. Your head fits perfectly into an oval. Case closed...you can stop having a complex now

Yeah, we might not be able to get Fedorov either...he's happy in Columbus I think. But I think if we can we should. It's time for the prodigal son to return home. And for those of you who think he is "bad" now..he's not. He's doing very well in Columbus. I like the idea of him because I know he loves Detroit and would probably at least consider coming back, we could probably re-sign him for cheap, he is a playoff performer, he is versatile, and he needs to retire here.

Our best players are over the hill...who cares. I'm just guessing about Grigorenko...but I'm probably right. Anyway, I'd take a proven playoff performer over someone who's not played a game in the playoffs anyday. Yeah, I would want to sign him for cheap the year after...hopefully we'd have cap room this year though, because we could use the playoff help. I'm sick of talking goaltending and defense. We need one who will really help us...someone WE KNOW can actually do some damage in the playoffs. Without Lang we will need someone to score some clutch goals.

lol...Grigorenko isn't going to help us in the playoffs...Fedorov will...and he could play D if our D gets injured like this year...or left wing, or right wing, or center, or goal...you know...he does everything...AND is Clutch.
