Yeah, I thought he was really good. I remember, specifically, that one shift he was all over the place keeping the puck in play, fighting through players, he seemed all over everything. It's the outcome of the game that changes everyone's memories.

If I can say 1 thing about Lang...it is this: Without him we'd ALREADY be playing golf. You can take that to the bank.

I have an idea...why don't we merge all the lang threads with all of the Bertuzzi threads and have a death match?

Bertuzzi isn't here to do the same thing he did in Canada. I hope he signs...for less, yes, but definitely think that when he's 100% he'll be a big asset to the team. Plus, PEOPLE LIKE HIM. I mean, it's someone who people have actually gotten excited about. Red Wing fans are hard to please but there's been quite a buzz around Bertuzzi, and I've seen a lot over Bert jersies...for him being such a newbie that's outstanding. It's nice to have a player who can be exciting and not necessarily get knocked around (except by Ozzie) like some of our more finesse-y players do. Bert = Wing next season

Franzen sucks. Lang sucks. Bertuzzi sucks. Hasek sucks. Calder sucks. Draper sucks. Maltby suck. Holmstrom sucks. Lilja sucks. and Lidstrom sucks the most!

No matter what happens ALWAYS REMEMBER it's KEY that we do not covet Giguerre or Pronger in the offseason. That would hurt my soul.

I for one will be happy with the Wings despite the outcome of next game. Don't do it!! I was just joking...we are all going to live forever, and the Wings will win the next 100 Stanley Cups. GO WINGS! The point of my post was this....why be all down? It's upsetting, sure. But it's the WINGS...they are GREAT..we love 'em. I'd rather be happy whether they win or lose, you know? So screw realism, I get that on the nightly news...

Here's some reality: If you are positive...it won't affect the game..it won't matter. You can cheer on the team as much as you want, but every cheer won't make a bounce go your way, a call be made in the Red Wing's name...or a player to step up and play. If you are negative...it won't affect the game..it won't matter. You can bash the players as much as you want, but ever player you bash won't create a better outcome in the former game, every doom and gloom comment won't cause the players to play better next game, or to motivate anyone. If you are realistic...it won't affect the game..it won't matter. Everytime you realistically assess the Red Wing's chances it won't guarantee a win or a loss. When you level your comments so that you won't 'be wrong' it doesn't really do anything for or agains the cause. And one day, we will all die anyway, so none of this matters.

Who cares about getting PP's we couldn't do anything with them. Maybe the call in the last 2 minutes was crap, but I don't think the officiating really affected us other than that call.

Next game...plain and simple, our best players have to be our best players. Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Hasek, Lidstrom.... Others can and should step up...but those 4 HAVE to step up. I think they will, and I think if they are on their game that we can't lose.

You guys are sad now, so you will be doubly happy when we score in OT!
