Offsides

It was a GOOD, nay GREAT, game. The outcome wasn't good, but the game was really exciting. What a comeback!?! We should have won, but we didn't...but I couldn't leave feeling too sad, because it was good hockey. Compare and contrast to game 1 of the Shark series...UGH.

I definitely don't think it's chauvinist. It's genetic that most men are stronger than most women...sorry gals it's true. I remember trying to arm wrestle even the skinny armed puny guys and I could not win. Maybe body builder women, but most of us aren't that. It's not to say women can't be tough, but c'mon. I guess chivalry is dead :/

For everyone who's whining about the small amount of critism that Hasek got, you need to grow a thicker skin. Dom has barely been critisized, and except for a few has not been bashed, people have just pointed out he had a bad game...which he did. He didn't face *that* many shots and let in 4. You can't do that in the playoffs and win. If MANNY or OSGOOD played that game ... OH HOLY LORD. That's why we have Dom, to not only NOT have a 4 goal game, but to be able to stop the unstoppable. But that was LAST game...and we are needing to win NEXT game. I'm pretty sure he's going to bounce back and be awesome in the next game which is a good thing, so while some critisism is warranted it's also poinless to speculate because we can logically deduct that he will play good next game. If *if* we lose this series (and we won't) it can't be blamed on one player. They win and lose as a team. That's the one thing to keep in perspective...if I can leave some advice. And when we win, and we start talking Conn Smythe trophies...remember why I picked Nicklas Lidstrom.

First of all, I don't even HAVE a panic button. Second, the Ducks haven't even looked good for the most part. Yesterday was their best game so far and they almost lost it. We've blown them out...they've never just blown us out. Dom didn't play good last night...has nothing to do really with whether he played good last game, or will play good next game. Dom should take his lumps like every other player who didn't play well. I am not in the Dom love fest here, but I have been giving him credit as he's been fantastic. When he's not, he and everyone, should expect critisism. On the flip side...no one should fly off the handle over one or 2 bad games. But people do because that's all it takes to lose a series. GO WINGS! GO DOM!

They play much worse with Pronger in the lineup. Wings in 6!

In a way...it's good we lost, because unless Kopetzky or someone scored the GWG, I would not know who to put on the sig...

Thoughts on the game 1) people are all whine whine that we blew an opportunity BUT...we coulda just been out at 3-1...but we battled back...that DOES count for something. It means we can't be counted out. 2) Hasek was not that good and it hurt us....I'm not going off my handle about it because most likely he will bounce back and do well...but I will call it for what it was...and it was NOT GOOD. On the flip side, he did make some decent saves near the end when we were tied...it was just unfortunate that eventually 1 went in. 3) This was a GOOD GAME...it was fun to watch. I really, really enjoyed watching us come back and really make an effort. 4) Zetterberg was like a demon on crack out there 5) Clangtuzzi...nuff said. 6) OMG...WTF...Flip was robbed...

When did you become the team's ray of hope? Although, I do agree, and I like it

All I know is that in our 2 loses Dom's let in 4. He's not really done that in the other series. Ducks have better O than the other teams.

It was still a good game...the Ducks still aren't going to win the series. We've had to fight this whole playoffs, I can't even get mad at this game...just bummed about the wasted effort.. BUT Clanguzzi WAS AWESOME! ha ha.
