When Lidstrom is shaky he's still better than everyone else.

Dom is deserving but Nick is the most deserving on the team. I honestly don't think we could consistantly win without him. He just does EVERYTHING. I mean...Dom TRIES to be a forward sometimes, but generally that ends in heartache It's not a knock against Dom, but I don't even know how anyone's been better than Nick. If he doesn't win it'll be because they want to spread the love around, I think. If Lidstrom wasn't on the team then Dom should get it...by proxy Nick being on the team kind of cancels out the goalie even if he does play well, it's not fair, but it's the truth. If we had a lesser D Hasek might be able to stop 30-40 shots a agame and really steal victories, but that hasn't been the case. Dom's had 2 SO's..last night when the Wings simple DOMINATED the Ducks and blew them out (so it's not exactly stealing a game) and the better SO against the Sharks, which would have been a SO if Lidstrom didn't save a goal. IMO Dom's best game was the one on my sig. Played absolutely fantastic that game. He's played consistantly good, and many times great. I think out of all the players though Lidstrom has been the MOST consistantly good player. Dom's getting better as he goes, so we'll see

He's been doing better and it has nothing to do with the goal. I think there are many factors...trying to find the right line for him....being not 100%...hopefully he'll keep doing better and better!

Bert's been good...he seems to fit in more and more everyday. As much as I'd love to see Bert fight STUPID Pronger...I also don't want him to fight him. Bert would be the hero (just like in Vancover) until something bad happens to Pronger and then all of a sudden poor innocent Pronger will be a hero.

You are probably right but I don't think he should get it. Our D, ailing or not, has been phenominal...captained by the man who really deserves the trophy: Nicklas Lidstrom. He provides EVERYTHING to this game. He's saved everyone's bacon...he's been superb (I think he's even playing somewhat injured), never (rarely) makes mistakes, has scored goals, made pretty plays, and has stopped goals. THAT is who should get the Conn Smythe and I don't think anyone could do anything at this point to change my mind. I think he deserves it even more than his last one.

Ducks org = BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Right now I'm not seeing the silver lining. Also, another note on the sig. It's totally biased, to everyone who has complained at me, ha ha. You should totally know that by now. If Ozzie plays 15 seconds in any win, you know he's the player of that game no matter what he does. Bert was due. Homer deserved it the most, perhaps, but he made the sig a long time ago, and if I put Homer on the sig everytime he was the biggest impact of the game we'd have like 8 homers up there right now. I think people are mad at my choice of Bert, but he had a good game and part of my factoring in who gets it is who gets bitched at the most (hence Datsyuk being #1) Nick COULD have been it tonight. He was OUTSTANDING. He could have been it a lot of nights though... There is more of a liklihood that Nick will have an even BIGGER game so I will reserve my rights on him. Anyway, I have something pretty big planned for someone...probably Nick. Bert..I mean...BERT! I've been listening to all the whining about him and he had a solid game. Even when I didn't think he'd score I thought he was doing so good. The third goal was what chased Giggy..ha ha....the nail in the coffin so to speak. Flip scored! I wanted him to SOOO bad last game. I was so happy. 2 more until Ottawa I don't even care if I sound overconfident. I want those Ducks to go DOWN in a bad way.
