I'm sorry but we can't sit anyone who has the potential to get clutch goals like Lang has. Cut his minutes...whatever you have to do but he CAN'T sit. I totally get why he isn't benched. Honestly though. If you guys can afford a $4000 - $6000 mortgage...even with adjusted salaries and such...then I can only conclude $100 worth of tickets are relatively A LOT cheaper in Cali than $100 worth of tickets in Detroit.

You're misunderstanding what he's saying, I think. Clearly it's a burdon to go to another state to attend hockey games, especially across the country. But it's like saying "If I were rich, I would give so much money to charity". It's really easy to say that because your not rich. It's a lot easier to spend 'hypothetical' money than to put your money where your mouth is and really go game in and game out to support the team. Plus, if you lived in MI odds are it would be a lot harder to find a job that is as profitable as where you are, which makes it a double dilemma. I think it's just hitting us now. Houses can't sell, people are being forclosed upon...moving out. Oakland county WAS the third richest in the country...I'm not sure what it is now...but the disparity between those incomes and the average person was pretty big....still it helped buoy the economy...now everyone's in the same sinking boat. It's not that I'm not hopeful that it can't change...because I think it can get back to being good again, but I think it'll bottom out first.

Then you get home from the game...log online, and everyone yells at you for not being loud and crazy enough, ha ha. Ahhhhh the life of a Red Wing fan!
