Brett Hull as commentator = awesome sauce. I know a lot of people don't like him because he talks a lot of crap, but it's hilarious. I can only hope that when Jeremy Roenick retires he will also become a commentator! LOL! My dream just came to fruition before I even posted it

I was going to tell you last game that I think if you supported Lang with your old ava that it would ensure a victoly ha ha. Because you know cheering for Lang = guaranteed win. Fanciness I agree with this sentiment. I was thinking this the other day. All great teams have to face great adversity and overcome it. It's just how it is. This is part of our adversity.

Even if he is the biggest jerk in the world it doesn't change that he's a good goalie. It seems that all the other best goalies are also known for being the biggest jerks in the world, so I don't really see why being a jerk has anything to do with him being supposedly 'over-rated' or whatever. Which...for the record...he's not. Everyone has bad games.

I think because he's been constantly injured is why he's not been so great this year. If he gets healthy he'll be a great asset to the team though. I love Kornwall. It's too bad, also, because he got that big goal. Now I feel bad that he didn't get to make the sig before he was injured....*sniff*

Yeah, especially when this series has been ALL about battling back and we are going to the Shark Tank....I wouldn't count out the Sharks just yet...but I never actually was scared of them, and continue not to be scared of them. I just want the Wings to play to their potential! GO WINGS!

DraperFan...for your own good you should just shut up. You are getting the reputation of the most ignorant person on the board. I'm not saying you are dumb, but that's definitely the rep you are building for yourself. You don't have to like Bert, you don't have to accept Bert, but you should probably accept that other people will like him...for your own good. As far as the real Kris Draper goes, he used to have a different role on the Wings than he has now...times are a changin'. Same with Bert. I think he will have a different role on this team than he had in the past and it will take a while to adjust to that new role. A lot of players have come to the Wings and adjusted to great success here. Bert could totally fit that niche. Copenhagen 848, I like your avatar, and the saying underneath...funny!

I thought he played pretty good...so I'm thinking that certain people need to not really take this moment to try to prove their points about Bertuzzi sucking. Also, I think that if he scores a hat trick in the next game, pummels 4 guys and births a baby it won't make a difference in certain people's POV, so I think that lessens credibility there.

I don't think anyone is writing off the Wings. But this is...realistically speaking...a very big loss. (which is exacerbated by the fact that we already have an ailing D)

Simply NOT true. Bertuzzi has not been the worst player on the team MOST NIGHTS. Perhaps 1 or 2 games he had bad games. I'm not saying he hasn't been mediocre at times, and he hasn't lived up to what people think his potential is...but to say he's been the worst player on the team most nights is a big exaggeration.

Make one of our forwards a defenseman and bring Huds back in...? I dunno. I miss Sergei.

I was so worried about today's game because I thought I'd miss it. I'm so happy...they did a GREAT job. I really don't even know what to say other than that's the team I know. And yeah, every guy on the ice contributed, you know. I love those guys.

I realize why they have trouble shooting high. I recall a thread based all about where to shoot on Nabby. That's why I don't really like Dom's style...he plays the odds...it's totally effective most of the time, but it annoys the crap out of me. It's like playing Tekken with someone who knows 1 really good move. It totally ruins the game but is REALLY effective for winning

First of all...Dom was never gone, so he can't be back...when has he sucked? Second of all...lol just shoot high Sharks... Ha ha. But I digress.
