Things: -Hudler with 5-8 minutes with Flip is a bigger influence than most of the players with thir 20 minutes. -I have come to the conclussion that Babs is telling Sammy to take shots from anywhere, and telling Lang to float around a bit and wait for plays to heppen....which is why he won't bench them. -Babs does not like players that HC likes...

How am I ever going to make a road trip to San Jose? Boo..I don't like this...

I will not make a predictions...because me + predictions = bad stuff happens. I do have a good feeling about the game though, so that is good! I will encourage you guys to root for Bobby Lang this time...as rooting for Lang = guranteed win. But most people are sooo stubborn that they won't try it...and we didn't win last time. Too much negative energy is devoted to #20....most definitely.

Well, here's how I see it. Before the series, I noted that Hasek had the ability to drag the team through a couple of games through the series if we had to get our act together. However, nothing has been going right for us the last couple of games -- including Dom... But remember when we did win the Cup with Dom that he struggled in the first round, too. This isn't one person's fault...not Dom's, not anyone. But if we don't get our entire game under control we will lose. Every year Detroit tries to blame solely the goaltender and it simply isn't true.

Read my post more carefully. I completely stated that 1 player doesn't win or lose a series. Then I stated I was trying to push my agenda...then I mislead you with some stats to push my agenda...then I concluded that Huds probably wouldn't have helped. I basically just showed you step by step how to manipulate facts, but I wouldn't put in that last step in the future. Ha ha. Jiri Hudler has never LOST a Cup yet. There's another stat for you. GO LITTLE JIRI!

Bert was amazing. I love him...CRUNCH! I was also upset about Calds. I'd really like to see Lang, Bert & Calds or Lang, Calds and Huds again. I agree that Calds could be doing much better. People need to realize that one player doesn't make or break a game, so bashing Lang means absolute Jack. Putting in Huds is on my agenda so I have to mention it every time I can: 2 games with Huds = wins 2 games with no Huds = losses and put up my agenda plus my circumstantial evidence (see above) to push my point. But would it have mattered if he was in? Probably not. Still, I would like the see him in. Flames haven't won at the Joe yet...if they do..then it's time to panic...no need to prematurely panic.

You guys expect me to believe your analysis of Lang...you don't even get OsGod, ha ha. He's not a homer. His favorite player is not a Red Wing. He is pretty much a fan of hockey, not necessarily of the Wings...they are just his home team. I'm pretty sure he doesn't even really like Lang that much, but the Lang bashing is just plain annoying to him...and you are just fueling his fire. And the more you fuel it the more long winded he gets...I'd just give up if I were you. And to OsGod...I'd just give up because they don't even GET IT.

Contrary to what you've been hearing on here...there are still 2 games left, at least. ALSO, I just want to point out that everyone who bashed Lang in the game GUARANTEED a loss....we were supposed to CHEER Lang to guarantee a win....BAD, BAD FANS

This is why there's so many Wings fans...if you can't stand an awesome team who wins all year long dropping one or two games, you definitely can't be a fan of like 4/5ths of the other teams in the league.

Cut Z's minutes. If he's not OK, he shouldn't be a liability out there..which he's not reeeeally been yet. But he's been ineffective. Give Flip and Huds some time.

I don't get why people expect the people WHO ARE PLAYING THE GAME to stay positive and come out and give it their all, when the people who are merely WATCHING the game have already given up hope. We have the easy part...honestly. Fake it a little.

Wow, doomsday here. It wasn't a great game. So far the playoffs have gone like the regular season. 2 Wins and home and 2 for them at their home. If it takes 7 games...well it does...oh well. But we only lost by 1 in each game. I definitely think the game was winnable, and if we would have won it...no one would be bitching like this...so whatever.

Bench Lang? His line is the only one that did ANYTHING today. So many problems with this team. Huds should definitely be in...play him with Lang or Flip. Flip needs more ice time.
