At least Lang is a +2. He's doing well with his new linesmates, while Sammy is still suffering. Take out Sammy, put in Huddles. Let's face it 2 games with Huddles = Wins and he had 2 points in those games, and was integral in other plays... Huds plays great with either Lang or Flip...would be great to have in there for a spark! And I'm sure he'll be motivated after sitting 2.

I'm so bummed. This has been an absolutely horrible day on so many levels...and now the game is just going poorly. I still think we can win, but it's hard for me to be positive right now because the calls are so against us...and just...everything.

I used to have a hard and fast playoff routine. Go to 7-11, pick up a newspaper, slurpee, and a doughnut. Wear my Fedorov jersey..if we lose, wash off the bad luck. Have Al the Octopus and my playoff pom pom...wave pom..throw octopus at TV if we score. And I would always paint my fingernails red with red glitter and wear my specially designed Red Wing shoes. Everything else was optional. Now, my routine is all off. Haven't celebrated the playoffs for the last ocuple years. 2 of the last four years I've been in Walt Disney World at playoff time. And so on, and so fourth. Right now, I'm wearing either Bertuzzi or Ozzie jersies...and my Ozzie hat, and I bought this necklace at Kroger that I've been wearing since game 1 and vow to wear through the whole playoffs.

True, but Flips and Huds were getting barely any ice time in games 1 and 2 and had, I believe, 4 points between them. So, it's not necessarily about ice time. My lines: Datsyuk - Homer - Flip Calder - Lang - Huds Bert - Z - Franzen Cleary - Draper - Malts

It's hard to get the money when you have jobs and kids and mortgages and such, too. I understand being a struggling college student...I've been there. But honestly it was much easier having a job in college, living at home and going to school to find the money (although Wings always sold out for me back then) It's much harder when you graduate...have to somehow find a decent job in this hellhole of an economy, and pay rent/mortage, utilities, car, car insurance, etc, etc, etc..... and I don't even have kids yet...but there's more expenses there!

UGH...no Huddles still...? At least Sammy is on the 4th line, but I'd rather see Huds or Calder with Lang than Bert. To me it seems like it's been whoever is the best on our team gets top lines, but it should be line combos based on how well they work together. Bert - Lang - Calds might've been okay, I dunno...

What!? That makes no sense. I want Hudler to play, but Hudler for Calder is really confusing... And for the person who asked. Why would we predict for the Wings to lose? It's a prediction...not real life. Why would we randomly think that the Flames, who haven't even risen to their top game yet, would beat us...surely you jest.

My only prediction is this: *WHEN* we win, I think that Cleary or Dom will be the best person in the ice and will thus take the coveted spot for Game 3 in my sig. Though I will keep an open mind.
