Anything more then 4mil is overpayment big time, i hope 2 years at 3.5mil. Goalies are just goofy, even 4 years is too long for my taste.

Stafford is the best choice IMO, specially since hes a righty. Kenny time to call your old buddy Regier up.

If there looking to get rid of salary im not sure they would be cool with taking Q's 3.7mil. It would cost a lot and dont think the wings would be willing to part with the pieces.

Thats not this summer, its the summer after this one. The summer coming up has old guys like timonen and streit.

Indeed there wasnt, but beside him none of the UFA defensemen look appealing, maybe if Whitney has a comeback year. But other then that its a lot of 35+ dmen. So only way to land anything good is for Kenny to make a trade.

Honestly it would suck but wont bother me that much. If there ever was a season where the wings wouldnt make the playoffs and actually get a great pick in the 1st round, a 48 game season is the best time to do it lol. -

Weber will either test FA or get traded. I could see philly offering up a package to land him, since the preds and flyers always trade with each other. -
Now I like parise>semin, but you cant pin all your hopes on one guy to sign here. What if parise or suter get there rights traded? Actually im sure they will be since teams will get whatever then can before they lose a player(Ehrhoff, Bryzgalov). So must keep all options open and semin to me is a really good option as well, and what does he have over parise? A right handed shot, can you imagine actually having a one timer from the other side finally on the power play?

I think if Suter were to sign in detroit, we would have to get Parise first. Detroit with parise puts them over nashville IMO. Parise is just great, love the way he plays.

I would love nash but i dont think holland has it in him to actually pull a blockbuster move. I mean what was the last roster player we traded? Williams for Calder?
