now i like hank just as much as the next guy. But doesnt it seem like his name is the one that should not be on there. hes got 8 points and is a +2 currently. But if we must pick a forward from the wings to be on that list. It definitly shouldnt be him. I would put cleary and datsyuk on that list long before hank. But that whole article is worthless for two reasons. Its the 3rd round, still lots of hockey to be played. And also....it was written by ESPN, and ESPN and hockey do not go together anymore.

i dont think franzen should be playing with bert. We dont have too many big bodies so we should spread them out. If huds actually plays id like to see the lines like this 1: hank - pav - homer 2: huds - flip - bert 3: Cleary - drapes - malts 4: franzen - lang - sammy i think flip and huds have good chemistry, and put them with bert to do the dirty work and i think that could turn out well. Its kinda terrible that we are pretty much assured that whoever plays on langs line is gonna get nothing done. anyways, just my 2 cents. ill say a 3-2 wings win with goals from flip, pav, and cleary for the wings and thornton and michalek for the sharks

lang needs to be on the fourth line in my opinion. he brings nothing to this team anymore, he doesnt try, he isnt fast and he skates away from any type of physical contact (aside from the one hit he layed last night). If i were babs id set up the lines like this: z-dats-bert franzen-flip-huds cleary-drapes-malts kopecky-lang-calder i agree with you also bringback91. We need to stop the point shots because theyre ALL being blocked. we need to set ourselves up like SJ did on the PP goal last night. Have dats on the side boards and let him make plays, thats what were paying nearly 7 million for right? but z and bert out with him. I think that if they kept it down low theyd have a much better chance on the PP. and at this point anythign is worth trying with our horrible powerplay

thats a really good idea, they should think about doing that in the near future.

the sharks obviously have the bigger, faster forwards who are for the most part the better scorers. but the same can be said now as it always can be said. defense wins championships, and the wings have (arguably) the best defense in the league. thats why i see them getting through this round

yeah there were some terrible calls. Id have to say that interference call against markov after the missed slapshot was the worst. But last nights game had very good officiating i think. One or 2 soft calls in each direction. I liked that set of refs

I dont think that calgary is more talented at all. They definitly have the edge in goaltending, but thats about it.

i agree, thats why i would never play defense. You are always the last line and any mistake is easily noticable and will probably lead to a goal. I suppose that just makes what lidstrom does so easily even that much more admirable.

dont you mean working much harder to injure datsyuk and hank? Because thats what they try to do EVERY game. Its nice of you to be civil and all. Itd be better if your team played hockey a little more and played "crosscheck in the back" a little less. I cant wait until dion takes a run at one of them and gets re-united with bertuzzi's shoulder.
