He doesnt like Lucic anymore apparently, so he's going to view everything with anti-Lucic glasses. Landed maybe two shots? LOL. Hell he landed 3 alone in a two second span right before Bradley went to a knee the first time! Two my ass! He landed alot more than that. The fact that he's pissed off all of a sudden about him not fighting heavies when he's rarely done it ALL SEASON long tells me all i need to know.

Colon's full of s***, thats why theres no balls.

ouch

Bradley went down from a combination of the gut punch and having had enough,... losing his balance? Come on man. Whatever the case may be, it was all Lucic and Bradley did absolutely nothing. He was overwhelmed and yet you're acting as if it were a close fight. And Im the one who's blind? Yet i have a feeling you'd say Downey killed Laperriere....am i right?

Nope! Ive never done indian puns before, so this is like a whole new category for me! EDIT: I should write these all down as they come to me, but my damn pen is out of inca.
-
yeah...i think he's Ojibwe or something like that.

Depends, if you run out of bathroom supplies you could always use Simon's contract as t.p.!Speaking of weapons for defense, on a side note i think the Hawks could use someone like Poti next year. What do you think it would take to make tom a hawk?

Huh? He KILLED Bradley, if thats not a wide margin to you...i dont know what is! Death? He's only taken on 2 heavies the whole year, and lost to both. Fighting guys like Bradley is nothing new. As GMR stated, Lucic is just too young and not ready to be taking on guys like Brashear. Somebody like that would most likely be all over Lucic. Shawn Thornton is the Boston heavyweight scrapper, not Lucic. What he is right now though is a damn good light heavyweight.

Maybe he should sioux for lost wages?

Son of a.... Didnt know Downey was out. That blows.

I'd like to see another of those 30 PIM games for Downey myself! Ive been waiting all year for him and Hordichuk to go, although i think Hordichuk would be the clear favorite going in it has the makings of a very fun and entertaining matchup. Two smaller enforcers just going toe to toe.

Yep, same here. Its nice to know you can slack on occasion and one of the other members of our crew will deal with crap posts like that! Very well said Kp...especially the part about killing penalties. That seems to be the end all be all around here.

The Lions are going to try and get Shaun Alexander is what im thinking. Its typical Millen, he goes for the guy whos had name value regardless of the fact he's becoming washed up. Signing him for anything more than 1 yr would be assinine...hell even 1yr is a mistake. He's done. I definitely didnt want Turner Timothy, that move will be regretted big time by Atlanta. On the surface this is stupid, but given Jones' health and the fact that he's stated in the past that he's wanted out, I dont really a big issue with it depending on the replacement.

Yeah that game was really a bust last night. For tonight's Wings game, i dont see anything on the horizon for Downey as Eager probably wont be playing. Even if he did his shoulder is screwed up anyway. Drake hasnt fought in forever, Wisniewski was clearly too much for him last time,...so we're left with one of Burish (who he already beat), Craig Adams, or somebody like Seabrook. I think the Burish rematch might happen. With McCarty being on the horizon i forsee Drake and/or Kopecky getting into a fight soon as they may feel vulnerable.

oh man...6-2...im officially drooling. Come on St Louis, dont change the way you play when a game is lost now!
-
I was thinking about that, but i'd take that Blues 5 over Parros, May, Moen, Sutherby, and Beauchemin... its close though. Anaheim would take it after that cause of their depth with Bert, O'Donnell, Getzlaf, etc. I'm gonna have to disagree with the whining thing. I believe opinions would change quickly, i mean look how many people disliked Downey but now like him in the lineup. Most, if not all homers, conform their opinion to how the team is. If theyre all skill, fighters arent necessary. If they have fighters, it becomes a great thing to have...if you know what im saying. Whatever type of team is thrown out there, thats what they think is best. Sure you'd still get some whiners, but overall i think most would be in full support.
-
Suprisingly hasnt been any scraps yet, but St Louis has King, Janssen, Walker, Mayers, and Jackman all dressed. Gotta be the toughest 5 any team has thrown out there this year! You'd figure one of King/Janssen would go with Godard, maybe King with Godard and Janssen with Vandermeer in what would be great and probably long ass fight. But nothing yet....

I reserve my f-bombs only for posts immediately following a Downey fight, thats my time and place! Other than that i keep it clean.
-
Cloutier was just the first tough goalie that popped in my head, but yeah i'd take Hextall.
-
At 5'10 205, i doubt I even come close.
-
I suppose Dan Cloutier would have to serve as backup in case Emery got tossed. On the bright side though, with my roster you'd still have 30 million in cap space left for the deadline

Maybe not entirely, i would want the job for more than 2 week you know
