I dont think anyone will find it surprising i agree with Cherry on 99.3% of the things he says! This being another one. Whoever said the blue collar comment was right. The one game i went to this year, the loudest cheer aside from a goal came from a nothing scrum. I mean, doesnt tell you how starved the fans are for some physical hockey? Im not gonna say every game i see is boring, but unfortunately most of them are. I remember the days where i used to record Wings' games when i wasnt home...now i wouldnt even think of it. Just not enough passion and physical play for me. Im hoping Bertuzzi can inject some life and maybe Bootland will stick around for a while. Well, i think this part would feed Cherry's side of the argument. Aside from Kronwall, no one else would be deemed a hitter. And even in Kronwall's case, i wish he would do a little more than just look for that one big hit. Actually, ive thought for quite some time that he DOES want it that way. I feel like any time the Wings have added a physical player its like its some sort of concession on his part. He's definitely finesse oriented.

Brashear had owned McSorley in a string of previous fights, i think that makes his motives look a litte more suspect than just team oriented.

Vick does have a very strong arm though, and theres no doubt his recievers have played horrible aside from Crumpler. WIth a good cast, i'd be curious to see how his passing numbers would turn out. Im not a Vick fan, just saying its not like he has the passing ability of a Brooks Bollinger or some other bum.

Polanco is more of a Holmstrom to me. Nothing flashy, just gets it done. Holmstrom gets his deflections, Polanco slaps singles to right field.

Anderson is to the euros as Avila is to the Latin players. I think theyre very similar in that respect.

Also cant forget Atl has former Louisville coach Bobby Petrino now, you know he'll be looking to use more of a high powered aerial assault than the Falcons have been used to under Mora.

I thought of that, but Joe Horn is getting up there and Atl basically has no one else aside from Crumpler. Having Johnson and Horn makes sense looking at it from the mentor aspect as well as them just being a great duo.
