Price for Gary Roberts will definitely come down, however, I dont believe it will for Guerin. Tkachuk maybe a little bit. And why should it? They are easily the two most sought after guys, when push comes to shove somebody will put up. Theres nobody else out there who can be a difference maker like those 2, aside from Bertuzzi who's a huge risk.

No, however the suggested line would be way worse. Two rookies (and keep in mind these are not stand-out rooks) along with a guy who's POSSIBLY just had a fluke year to this point together as your 2nd? A line that needs to be relied on heavily as teams key Zetterberg/Datsyuk? Totally out of the question i think. Obviously someone desperately needs to be acquired and paired with Lang (Guerin). He is the only option for 2nd line center at this point, unless you break up the top line. Or if another center is traded for...

Thats for the 2nd line?! An inexperienced, unproven line like that could NEVER be relied on as your 2nd unit, especially in the playoffs. They'd get shutdown.

Alright this is getting so irritating that its driven me to start a rare thread. This Jason Williams talk is going completely overboard...its like the LGW plague. Over the course of just today ive seen it mentioned that people think Mr 1pt Kopecky is better than him, and now the ultimate slap in the face...2 AHL shmucks in Hussey and Ellis. Now the hot talk is waiving him! This is ridiculous, i am not a Jason Williams supporter and obviously want him traded but be serious about it. He is not THAT bad.

20 goals and 40 points in the AHL isnt jack s*** for a guy whos 25 years old. If it was a 20 year old, i might be impressed. Ellis would be just another Langfeld on the Wings' 4th line, a guy who does nothing.

Jason Williams is 100x better than Hussey and Ellis combined.

Well they certainly have the assets to make some moves...they can use both their 1st and 2nd round picks with whatever players in trade and not even sweat it. If theyre looking for a major deal, a combo of Guerin/Brewer would be huge. Would be very costly of course. I know Brewer has struggled in St Louis but hey, could be a good risk.

The Islanders are tied for 8th now....so no, theyre not "kinda like Edmonton" who's 8 pts out! So when you factor in that theyre right in the thick of it, and also that Simon is buddy buddy with coach Ted Nolan....i conclude he's going NOWHERE.

Eager was just an example, theres alot of fighters people would claim have no ability and arent good enough for us...yet be in full support of a guy who's done jack s***. Thats all im saying. Franzen is an add-on type player, no way would Florida take him as the key player along with picks. Not a chance.

The Wings wont be trading Franzen, however, Hudler has waaaay more trade value than Franzen (thats IF youre insinuating Franzen's more valuable..)

It must be a Hudler plus a 1st and 2nd round pick, cause Perry certainly has more value than Hudler.

Another problem i have is with people being inconsistent. For instance I bet many people here would say a guy like Ben Eager isnt good enough to play on this team. Yet he has 7 pts and plays 100x more physical than Kopecky.
