When you throw a shot at somebody you're absolutely fair game, thats not being jumped.

Look at that Cleary fella! Picking up right where he left off in the playoffs and continuing to get in my good graces! Atta boy!

Im in heaven over here....i think im falling in love with the Flyers! 4 fights so far, two of which were textbook examples of sticking up for your teammate. Chris Drury of all people instigates with Mike Richards after he hits Jagr, and Shanahan just dropped 'em with Jason Smith after Smith crushed a Ranger. This is beautiful to watch!! Jason Smith also fought Colton friggin Orr earlier in the game, what a warrior this guy is and a great teammate. The Flyers have something like 19 fights in the preseason...god bless preseason hockey!

Screw this game...Flyers/Rangers is where the fun is at! I wish they'd extend the preseason till January!

Off to a nice 0 for 1 start on guarantees so far haha...im really surprised Ivanans and Parros didnt have a go But given the boos of the English crowd every time a fight didnt happen, they almost HAVE to fight tomorrow! I really liked what i saw out of Jack Johnson.

Buckcherry - Everything (my current favorite song)

As for fisticuffs, these two teams are going to want to put on a show, so I can guarantee we'll be seeing Parros vs Ivanans square up right off a faceoff! (probably at the 2:37 mark of the first ) Cant wait..

Sounds like a team that would be run by me! I need to become Burke's protege.

Carolina was not totally barren of toughness, they did at least have Commodore mainly, and Craig Adams.

Im on IE right now, maybe ill try something else

Yep, its on there. Hey I was wondering, why when i hit the maximize button for any game i only get audio and no video for it?

He's spot on

Thanks GST, the feelings mutual. I was actually thinking the same thing, the fact you saw it the same as me helped validate what i saw as well!

Hey I was wondering, if you asked Bob about his feelings on Bertuzzi....would he say that he's pro-Bert????
-
What does this have to do with Hordichuk?! By the title I was expecting a fight clip with a huge knockout...false advertising!!
-
I agree, I think it was small edge Downey. I hold very little value for takedowns on their own, for instance i wouldnt give Bertuzzi a win over Phaneuf last playoffs since he didnt even land anything. He did that to get out of the fight, so no win. But in the case of two guys really going at it and one being slightly ahead based on punches, getting a takedown at the end in addition to that is enough for me to give him the edge rather than just calling it a draw.

Sounds like Boyle has got your guys' fantasy teams in some hot water!

Probert in a movie? I dont know, a coke commercial seems more fitting if you ask me!
-
Dont get me wrong stick, I agree with what you're saying....but the fight lover in me just has to make those edits!! There's nothing noteworthy about beating a few of those names. Most notably Tyson Nash, who's one of the biggest ragdolls ever.

Theres no need to sign any left fielder for longer than one year though. So right there, you're options will be very limited as guys who are any improvement over what we have are probably looking for longer term deals. Just throwing Raburn/Thames out there is probably the best option. SS is the key position for this offseason for the positional players, and bullpen obviously on the pitching end. Santiago should not even be considered for the starting role imo. No way can you bank on his bat being over .230 for the long haul over the course of a full year. However, unfortunately i learned that Edgar Renteria is actually still signed with ATL for a couple more seasons. I couldve sworn i seen a website list him as a free agent...but he isnt. The News did write a small piece about possibly trading for him though, as Atlanta has a young guy coming up. So he's still definitely an option.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the whole Mowers/Moen thing....put a pest-aside those two and you've got a whole lawn care line going!
-
Cool. Roy and Downey have been pretty much at the same level toughness wise, so its good to know he didnt lose that one and fared pretty well.

And Colton Orr pounded Sutton afterwards.
