Because he'll provide toughness, as well as some offense, on a 3rd line. Anaheim has Moen, Ottawa has Neil, now the Wings could have Asham. Guys like this have alot of value. He has decent skills and could flourish here.

Brad Stuart is continuing to make more and more sense for the Wings. My first choice would be Souray, but i know he'll be commanding big bucks. Cool, im feeling a little better about the chance now. Smyth, Stuart, and Asham....thats what i'll be praying for.

The likelihood of you putting on 15 lbs of muscle in only 2 months, while mainting a running regimen, is slim to none. To put on weight in that time frame you'll need to eat a ton more and lift alot of weights. Doing alot of cardio is rather counterproductive to that process.
