Photobucket has a resizing option now, that should do the trick. Just click on the picture in your album, and you'll have a couple different size options.

Jiri Hudler - Would you have played him more?

Oh and of course if you bring Tie Domi to the game, you can get in with just the jacket -

With all this talk of class maybe you guys should start a petition to institute a dress code for all home games. Make it a jacket and tie affair, start serving fine wine instead of beer, play symphony music instead of the usual songs, get the golf clap going instead of cheering, etc -
This is a pretty valid point. The hockey fans California does have are divided, if Anaheim was the sole team you'd see alot more people there. Obviously Sharks and Kings fan arent going to go to a Ducks Cup rally. It would be like expecting Spartan fans to attend some Wolverines championship parade.

Good point, but its not like these kids will actually be fighting and hitting each other in the head at the camp (at least i wouldnt think). Its about teaching them how to fight and defend themselveswhen the situation arises. Fighting is permitted in the sport, so whats wrong with teaching kids on how not to get mangled? I will admit the age thing is a little low, 14 and up might make it look a little better.

Calder was good at first, but I remember him being in a drought after his red hot start. He had definitely tailed off big time prior to the playoffs. I dont think there was an injury though, why would they not reveal it? Whats the point in keeping a secret like that? You would think Calder, entering free agency, would come clean about it since it would be an excuse for not doing anything in the playoffs. His bad play in the playoffs will hurt him in the dollar department. -

Cant argue with that, i'd have put Hudler in over all of those guys you mentioned. I kinda feel Kopecky's physical play is more of a myth at this point, i seen maybe one or two moments out of him but he hasnt been impressive at all to me. Calder i didnt like when we got him. Played hard at first with a new team and then that was that. -

And this equates to putting him in over who? If you're saying Kopecky, I dont feel he was much of a physical presence at all -
Some of our top moments from 2007 playoffs

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! eeeek! Thornton wouldve beaten up Markov no question, no matter the circumstances, but I really applaud Markov's effort though! I do think they dropped the gloves face to face though...Thornton just dropped his a little sooner -

Markov actually dropping the gloves with Thornton....not anything to most but by god its enough to enter the Lou Siffer Hall of Fame! -
i'd take Dominic Raiola over Nazr or Zach....but thats just me

I dont see any sweat beading down from his face as he battles to hit the last few notes in the song...so he CANT be Todd Jones!

....and pick up a Super Ginzu. If it can cut through a copper pipe or a shoe, its gotta go through a neck in one quick slice!

Jiri Hudler - Would you have played him more?

But he had a bad year all along with SJ, for whatever reason it just didnt work. But he's the kinda guy that showed alot in Chicago and under the right situation could be pretty darn good. The main point here is really that Bell's value to the Sharks has gone down so much that it wouldnt take as much to land him as it wouldve in Chicago. I think he's the perfect kinda guy to take a run at. If they actually took Hudler for him, then its a no brainer. If not, I still dont think it'd take all that much. I do agree that the Sharks need defense, but i dont think Bell will get them what they need in that area. -

yeah it was some 3-way involving preissing, bell, and havlat. But Bell's value is down, and Hudler's is up a little, thats why its kinda become more of an even trade. The fact SJ didnt dress him for a playoff games has to show they dont really like him much anymore, its a chance to snag him -

No, christ, what im saying is because he had a bad year in SJ his value has been lowered. If you, the GM who has his eye on him, still believes he's the player he showed in Chicago it could be the chance to land him for much less than it'd wouldve taken before. Kp- Yep i agree completely. I hate mentioning names in trade scenarios that have no source behind it, but its just a thought. We all know SJ isnt happy with him, I wish we could grab him. -
hmmmm if you were Mexican, with a shaved head, add a goatee, maybe 50 lbs heavier....you look like Joel Zumaya.

Are you baseball fan? Just asking cause you typed Scott Moore (former Tiger/current Cubs minor league baseball player) instead of Steve Moore. A mistake ive caught myself making as well a few times in the past...so im curious! It would seem only a Tigers or Cubs fan could make that exact mistake! Fighting is still "allowed" in hockey though even though its a penalty, and its synonymous with being part of the game. Judge Judy would throw that case out

Why's that? One bad year? He's the kinda guy you get value for if you believe in him. Before this season you could never have gotten Bell for Hudler. -
It is absolutely no different than a lawsuit against a karate instructor...no liabilty. If your kid got beat up by a kid who knew karate, do you have a case against the instructor? Unless theres a law precedent i dont know about....heck no!My point about the parent thing is that no parents will send their kid to a fighting camp unless themselves and the youngin' are serious about hockey. Its not going to be filled with bad kids looking to beat everyone up. Will there be one bad apple or two, sure, but again...no different than martial arts.

I feel the same, it'll be like hitting reverse. Even its for a good price, its still a roster spot for a type of guy i dont think we need...thats what i value the most.
-
Going along with my earlier point, again, you also have to factor in the parents who will be paying for these youngsters to go. Theyre not going to send their kid unless he is actually a good hockey player and theyre helping to push for a future in the sport and want him to learn all aspects of the game.

I dont think you'll get anything great for him, as in any package the Wings would be willing to put up he'd more than likely be the best player in it. Im looking more at a quality 3rd liner type for him. I still look at someone like Mark Bell, whos a good player but had a bad year in SJ (and still has potential) and maybe they'd like to unload. Im just speculating, maybe they wouldnt even want Hudler, but thats the kinda guy i think would be really nice for us and something we could use Hudler for.
