Speaking of attendance. I can't find two tickets in upper on Ticketmaster for the game against L.A. I can find them on other sites but No way I will spend over $80 per ticket for upper bowl seats for a regular season game.

Traffic was a nightmare to go for a Lions game when they use to play at the Silverdome on a work week night for Monday Night Football. The Palace is only up the road from there. Plus there is nothing around the Palace within walking distance like at Joe Louis Arena. At least you could walk to places to eat or visit in Downtown.

Michigan has been losing population for the past 8 years. In 2008 Michigan was one of two states to lose population. 2009 Michigan was one of three states to lose population again. Many Michigan residents have relocated to Arizona, Cali, Colorado, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, ect... because there are jobs there where there are none in Michigan. Which is why you you see alot of Wings fans at the games when Detroit is on the road.

Some foods that are a must to eat. Coney Dog - You can find them pretty much anywhere, but the real deal is at Lafayette and American Coney Island in Downtown. Detroit Style Pizza - Buddy's Pizza is famous for it. Jet's Pizza as well. We have a crap load of Middle-Eastern and Greek food in all parts of the Metro area. Speaking of Middle-Eastern, Go out to Dearborn too see the Mosque for the Islamic Center of America. I believe its the largest one in the U.S. Then you got Henry Ford Museum as well in Dearborn. Detroit is not like NYC, Chicago, L.A. San Fransisco, Atlanta, D.C. Dallas, Boston, Cleveland, Seattle, Portland and many other U.S. cities where you can get away from not having a car while visiting. You will need a car when visiting Detroit.

Rumors are flying around that Comcast is going to buy NBC.
