Even in Canadian cities as well. The Calgary Flames are a perfect example. They could not fill their area with their crappy team in the late 90’s and the owner was thinking about moving the team. Some Flames fans deny this and make up some lame excuse blaming the Red Wings for the reason due to the Wings having a high salary. But it’s the Flames fans fault for not supporting their team and putting money in their owners pockets so he can go out and make the team salary high. As for who owns this town, I belive the Wings still own it. The radio might not give all the attention on the Red Wings but I know a lot of people in the Metro Detroit area that still talk more about the Red Wings then the Pistons. I think the problem with the radio not talking about the Red Wings was due to the lockout. All the attention got focused on the Pistons as they were making a run and I think they won the championship that year.

It would of been better if it was a Anti-Ford Senior sign. Old man Ford is the worst owner in the NFL.

I did not know the Ducks had such a strong Dutch following (Reference to the orange in the crowed ) Hasek played great, Homer played awesome and the rest of the Wings were just magnificent. I was happy that we sent jizzer out of net.

I know you stated you do not watch TV that much but you do get some decent channels on the digital cable package with WOW. Discovery Times (they show some great documentaries), Discovery Science (some great programs shown on this channel), BBC America (Which have some good shows from across the pond. I got my aunt and my cousin hooked on Robin Hood.), G4 (if you love video games or Jamie Kennedy), FOX college channels(they show college hockey), Starz's and Encore movie channels.
