I sent CBC an E-Mail last year for Windsor area and this is the reply. We appreciate your interest in CBC Television. CBC is currently broadcasting in over the air high definition in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver. Beyond that, no further decisions have been made regarding further expansion as yet, since federal funding for such projects is not currently in place. Any further new transmitters would likely be placed in major centres of high population, but it's premature to speculate on possible locations for future transmitters at the moment, or on exactly when additional facilities might be installed. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has established a date of August 31, 2011 as the deadline to end analog TV transmission in Canada. I have one TV on CBC and the other NBC HD with mute. CBC just knows how to work the camera, when a scrum happens they don't put graphics up covering the screen like NBC and VS does and talk about a players stats or just cut away to commercial instead of not showing a reply of a big save.

I'm a little tick that one Blackhawk player that hit Val in the face and the puck being nowhere near him only got a 2 minute interference call and not a 10 minute game misconducted.

This game could have been easily 9 or 10 - 1. You could see the Red Wings were backing off when breaking close to the net when it was 5 - 1.

Technically there is no true pure South Detroit. Windsor, Canada is too the South of Detroit. There is however a Southwest Detroit.

I hate how they play the pump up the crowd music too early during commercial breaks. By the time they are set for the face off, you are just tired of cheering and stop. I do wish they would play more Trance type music and perhaps some stuff from Swedish Bands. It is very common for Swedish bands singing in English ranging from hard rock to dance/pop.
