Wow, very weird, but that is the same with the wife and myself. However, I am stuck in Bruins territory so we always have the B's on. I was thinking about GCL, but the price and value don't work for me. $50 isn't bad, but NHL network games being blacked out!?! That is beyond dumb. The Wings are on nationally/NHL network too often for GCL to make sense for me.

I am not trying to excuse this loss away, but does any one think that the Red vs. White scrimmage should have been a Wings vs. Griffins scrimmage? Wouldn't this have given the lines more time to 'gel'? I know at the end it is just a scrimmage, but everyone just seemed completely out of sync with each other the entire night.

He is just playing the cards he was dealt. Thomas knows the Bruins are looking to trade him. His no movement clause of his contract expires on July 1st. Meaning that the Bruins could wait til it expires and trade him to Winnipeg or somewhere he doesn't want to go. Thomas makes a statement saying he is going to sit out, the Bruins then are forced to handle him and he can now use his no trade clause and pick the teams he'd be willing to go to. Thomas says it's because of his family, but it makes no sense if that is the only reason.

Wake me up when its June 25th, all this speculation just puts more hope into something that is far from being decided.

In the video of Franzen getting hit in the face they flash to the Russian bench and you see Datsyuk yell something. I wonder if he was mad that his Russian teammates just cross checked his NHL teammate in the face, or that he was upset that that drew a penalty.
