how many guys on this team now can keep up with him? And on a serious note what does that have to do with anything? I don't remember Joe Kocur quite keeping up with Draper back in 97 & 98. -

Yeah keep him if you can keep Fil and Cleary, which I'm not sure how. If he walks that's fine. More money to spend to keep Hudler and maybe sign some type of roll player if they can. Try to keep cap space for a deadline deal. This team won without him and they can probably do it again. And there is more than enough talent here to fill in the holes around Hank, Pavel, Franzen, Cleary and Filpulla. Not a bad base to build from. -
It just needs to get here. The waiting is f'in killing me. They need to wrap this up tonight. My heard and hairline can't take a game 7.

Yeah I don't think you need to win the cup to be the mvp of the playoffs. Giggy is the perfect example. He was amazing all the way till the end in 03. Without him no way the Ducks get past the Wings probably, let alone to game 7 of the cup finals.

Yeah I'll wait until the pregame skate is done and we'll see. A major blow but I find it hard to believe just yet because pregame skate probably isn't over. Not saying he's for sure but we'll see.

I'm always nervous no matter what. They could up 3-0 in a series and I would be nervous. As I said earlier I hate waiting around for the game. Just be 8pm already!

So Abby out as expected. Leino has to be the other one. Maltby would be the only other one going out but I think they'll stick with him. You gotta stick with the veterans in this situation imo.

Thats what I see too. While Leino has done well and Homer hasn't you still keep Homer in cause he's still one of the best at screening the goalie. And Fil deserves to be on the 2nd line still the way he's played. Franzen - Hank - Cleary (been too good to break up) Dats - Fil - Hossa (start off with Fil at center until you make sure Dats is fully read to go.) Hudler - Helm - Sammy Homer - Draper - Malts or Abdelkader

The Avs turned into the biggest joke of a franchise. While I hated them before because if you are a Wings fan you have to, they used to be a proud and good franchise. I didn't understand the re-hiring of Granato after firing Quenville. It was bad enough he got demoted and then promoted again. I feel bad for Tony with all of that and of course the Roy thing. Makes me appreciate being a Wings fan.

I think with just Draper in that will help the Wings not be tired in the 3rd but if both him and Dats play that will help. They need to dig in now and don't let the Pens back in. I'll be nervous all day until the game starts. I hate the waiting Wings in 4-2, Hossa gets 2, I mean the odds are in his favor there. GO WINGS!!!!

I would say move them but I don't know if there are any more US markets left for hockey that would work, and I doubt these guys would take them to Canada. and as someone said its probably more about the arena than anything.

yeah I don't think he played all that bad. Made some good saves. Talbot goal he was moving cause of the one timer. Letangs it looks like Kronwall was screening a little and he sure didn't see Gonchar's. Plus E took the penalty and the Wings had their chances to clear the puck and didn't on that same PP.

Having Draper and Pavel back in would be huge. I hate sitting around for 2 day after a loss. I just want them to get back out there and get it right next game. After a win it's nice to sit around and soak it all in.

heard this a week ago about hossa. I will wait and see but is sure seems possible. Sammy was gonna be gone no matter what cause the Wings aren't gonna match what his largest offer will be. Some team will pay him big bucks. I hope we don't lose Hudler but I've said it before. There are so many scenarios that I won't even begin to guess what holland could do.

While it's very possible they could lose this series, coming back from 0-2 is much more common in hockey than others, it would be hard to imagine. Pens winning 4 out of 5 would be tough. Won't stop me from worrying until the 4th win. Just how I am. Never used to be this way.

my hairline is retreating fast enough. A game 7 would make my forehead way too big. 6 I'm ok with. 4 or 5 would be much better.
