The problem with Holland is that he holds on to too many prospects without really knowing what he does have. If we had given the likes of Jarnkrok, Janmark et al a proper shot and run in the side we wouldn't be having this debate. Nestrasil had a look and the powers to be took a chance to wave him and lost him. My opinion is that we should be giving Sproul Frk and Callahan and the likes i.e. guys who are on the fringe of making it, a proper look. If we feel that they aren't to the level required then expose them to waivers. What classes a proper look thou? 10 to 15 games? But then if they struggle it could impact the Wings in the standings. It's a difficult situ but that's why we have the front off guys, to hopefully make good calls and move the team forward.

Don't think it's fair putting Grigorenko on the list the guy had a life threatening injury and never fully recovered from it. I would put him in the "if only" category.

I would say Kenny has a trade partner for D man it's a matter of what pieces go the other way. Not easy anyway you look at it, I would go after Schultz anyway offer him $3m a year on a 2year deal hopefully get DD resigned and go from there. They big issue then would be moving a D out of Detroit. Schultz DeKeyser Green Kronwall Smith Marchenko Gives us RH LH combo on all 3 pairings Ericsson Ouellet surplus ? We all know that Kenny won't buy Ericsson out and XO they are high on, so what's next?

I would say Franzen is done regarding hockey. If he made a full recovery you still wouldn't want him to risk it reoccurring by playing again.

Shipachyov is a skilled center with excellent on-ice vision. He skates very well and with a fluid stride. Owns great offensive instincts and likes to have the puck on his stick. Tyutin still on Kenny's radar? If we trade for a Trouba/ Fowler using some of our young D as part of any deal I can see Kenny giving Tyutin a deal to play and coach Marchy along next season.

Wings looking at all options including some in KHL ?

Kenny to sign 2 free agent forwards and trade for an upgrade on the D . My dark horse tip is Staal on a 2 year deal to centre the second line, just think he would reinvent himself on the Wings roster with Mantha and Abbey as his wingers.

Now if Kenny can somehow get Stamkos and Ladd/Lucic on ufa , trade for Trouba/Shattenkirk and get Radulov for a reasonable deal we could be serious about going deep.

KH has got to do something this year, Mr I wants a team capable of challenging when the new arena opens. I can see 3 or 4 moves being made by Kenny.

So with Kennys reluctance to make a major trade what route do you see the Wings going down? Are there any top fas in the NCAA this year? Who's the next Panarin to come in from Europe, and are we watching with interest. Will we go with 2 or 3 guys coming up from GR and let our FAs walk this year. Is there an outside chance that Kenny trys to trade up in the draft just for a change. I really hope we do more things to shake this roster up as it will be as you were this time next year except I see the run ending at 25 years. I have a few players in Europe that could be interesting to bring over and may make an impact, but well see soon enough what the front office is thinking.

Looking like The Wings are front runners for Radulov , could this be the yeAr when Kenny does some major deals and has the fans gasping at his signings!? We wait and see

Marchenko is currently a +10 which leads the tournament overall at present.

Marchenko looking better every game , a +4 today against the Swedes.

Sergachev is the one I'd try and trade up for, could come straight into the roster.

Look guys Radulov is a stud end of, he would be our most potent offensive weapon straight off the bat. We need a top forward as I feel Pav is gone and Z ain't going to get any more productive period. Tats and Gus are secondary scorers at best I just don't see them taking on the load and void that Pav and Z are going to leave. Stamkos and Radulov would fill it straight off, giving the likes of Larkin and Mantha, and dare I say Svechnikov, who for me is an outside bet for a roster place, more time to grow into top line players.

has anyone got an up to date list of our signed 50, or is there a site that lists them?

Are there any big NCAA ufas this year? No stand out D but a few forwards, Gladiuk and Vesey look the best players but Cook, Kolenda and Schmit look interesting with some size and RH shots.
