Talk surfacing again he is NHL bound next season. Coming off a great playoff series scoring 5+15 in 20 games. From what I've seen of him we could do worse than giving him a shot.

Dallas sign him to a 2 year entry level contract. Will join Texas for the AHL playoffs. Him and Backstrom went in the deal to get Cole, hopefully he shows his worth could be a good trade for Nill hopefully Cole will heal up and given a chance with us next year but doesn't look to promising at present.

I think the way we lost this game is definitely a momentum changer. I hope I'm wrong but another blow out in Tampa coming up Sat I fear.

before the series started i would have taken a split in Tampa, which is what we have, if Petr hadnt been on his game thursday this would have been a non contest series. Ill be surprised if tampa take both games at the joe.

For this set of players to hit the 100pt Mark I would say it's been a very successful regular season. If we get to round 2 then I think we have punched way above our weight.

The coaching staff are very high on both Marchy and O I wouldn't be surprised to see both of them up next season. Smith in a deal for Phaneuf think it's on the cards.

Hopefully we have all the guys back for Tuesday games. Cole Datsyuk Zetterberg top line with the savvy to go against any top line and be a threat. Abdelkader Sheahan Jurco 2nd line plenty of size and grit should hold its own against opposing line and score. Tatar Helm Nyqvist 3rd line speed skill and scoring threat to win games itself. Miller Glendening Andersson 4th line, although not everyone's cup of tea, they do the job asked and in general do it well, have combined for almost 20 goals. This would leave out vet Weiss and young gun Pulkky but I think it's the best combination to get us the wins we need. The D doesn't have to change as I believe it is what it is and however you change it around we won't get anything different out of them. A brave decision would be to put in Kindl over Smith as he does carry a more offensive threat believe it or not!

It'll be all over Thursday, well get a point in Habland and the Rangers will beat the Sens.

in his 15 yr pro NHL stint #90 has been a minus in 11 of those, so maybe he aint defensive orientated ?

its not a case of losing faith with the team, on current form or should i say result's we will struggle to go further than the first round. Hopefully we'll have a full roster to pick from for our last 3 games next week. Im hopeful we can win both these weekends games and then i think that will be enough to secure the post season berth, but being realistic i cant see us getting anything at the Wild today and maybe if we can put a full 60 versus the Caps we could get 2pts.

Use him in a trade to get the #1 D we desperately need ? Then yes I'd do it if it's the right return if not then no, keep him and split next year's games between him and Petr
