I would re-call Nathan Paetsch and pair him with Smith on the 3rd when E is back. He is an elite skater and has vast experience. Def for the next 4 games, the Griffs are in their p/o we need 3 pts to make sure the game in Buffalo is a must win now.

can we call up N. Paetsch ? When E is back put the 3rd D in the press box and use Paetsch, at least the guy has elite skating and that vet presence we need. It would suck for the Griffs but we need to up grade that 3rd pairing. It'ii get done in the summer but we have 4 games left and we need at least 2 wins from them to be in the playoffs. Gus made some good save's but boy does he give up some un timely rebounds.

we actually outplayed them the 2nd and get done by some sloppy D. anyone else think that maybe nic jnr has hit his peak and is in decline, he looks like hes skating in mud out there. as is abbey actually out there tonight

well Caps beat the Isle, NJ are up on Canes, Jets just drew level with the Leafs and we havent turned up yet down by one. hope i havent jinxed us : (

i just hope we dont think we just need to show up to beat the Sabres tomorrow, I honestly think we can win the next 3 games and if we do that then we are in it.

Out of our remaining games I hadnt got this one down as a W, i just hope we stay init and not get blown away which could do some damage to the boys confidence. Good job the next game is against Buffalo !

well going into the 2nd only behind by 1 is a plus. this game is like watching the Wings from the 90's only its the Bruins doing it! One thing for sure, boy do we need an upgrade on the 3rd D pairing.

I honestly feel they should just shut Weiss down for the year. Get him well rested for the start of next season, the surgery should be well healed by then and maybe just maybe he may have a chance to prove he was worth the $'s the Wings invested in him. We have enough at forward to hopefully get into the post season without Weiss so let it heal and take it from there. -
