the Gus Tats and Andy line owned the A last year. They would be more than enough for most 3rd lines in the show to handle.

Teemu and Alexy are very steady young players who are going to save the Wings $m's in the trade market. Teemu comes into his own on the pp and reminds me a little of old golden Brett. Alexy just ouzes calmness and rarely gets caught out of position. He could step into the 3rd pairing now and in time will be a solid 3/4 guy for the Wings blueline. Both are really in their first full season in the A and dont seem to be out of place at all. Also they lead the Griffins in the +- stat with both having a +15.

just take #11 off the 2nd line and put #14 on it already.

he is a former 1st round pick who will be a ufa at the end of the year i guess Tallon is trying to get something for him before he walks. He is a good skater with a good outlet first pass. His style could be better suited to our game than that of the Panthers. Compare his year so far to Quinceys, and you can make your own decision on who'd you sooner have.

So for Gus to stay up, Kenny has to let loose another forward? So we should see some sort of roster movement in the next 24 hrs. We all know that Nyqvist should be at the club but its a numbers game and has Kenny got the minerals to do it, wait and see I guess.

I get a feeling that Mr I has had a word with Kenny and the kitchen is warming up. Kenny hasn't been in this position before and is struggling to cope. At the end of the day he made 2 signings he didn't need to do and its hurting the team and the progress of some of the prospects. hopefully he will have learnt from it and at the end of this season doesn't make the same decisions again. Let them go Kenny, its a business and the owners and fans want and deserve the best product you can put out on the ice.

Babs has a good win %, in fact in the reg season its better than Scotty's was. I feel that he isn't getting the right players for the system's he wants to use. So he either has to change his style to adapt to the roster he has or get Kenny targeting players that will work within the Babcock reign. as for the roster, well I kinda get the feeling that were gunna ride it thru to the season's end and then Kenny can right the wrongs he's done by not re-signing guys that are past their best. Loyalty is all well and good, but im afraid its costing us games now and at the end of the day, Mr I will only stand so much before the hammer comes down. on the plus side, if we carry on like this we could get a top 10 draft pick for the first time since Martin Lapointe in 1991.

just think of those 7 ot losses in other ways, ie if we hadn't got to ot we have 7 points less and with the chasing pack, or if we had won them all we sit top of the conf !! it really is that close. I have every faith that the boys can go on a 5 or 6 game winning run and get their mojo's back.

Then if at the end of next season he has 70+pts in the bag then he would have more irons in the fire to work a better deal with Kenny. I hope he doesn't do a Leino and fade away thou as he has some real talent to give the NHL, pity it wont be at the Joe, but it opens the door for someone else I guess.
