just a minor add up front for now i feel. the big moves will be in the off season. how could kenny ask Stuy to go in a trade to cali area when he has a chance of winning another cup where he is? would be a big ask and a big decision for Stuy. your looking at dealing with LA or the Ducks cause the Sharks aint gunna be a trade partner with the Wings. So what would you package up with Stuy and what would you want coming back this way?

on a side note, i gotta feel for GR this year. They are 6th in scoring this year but the goalie situ with Joey being hurt earlier in the year and now him being up with the Wings left them with a Pearce 3.39gga/McCollum 3.59gga tandom. Compare this to Joey's 2.63gga in GR and you can see why the Griffs are struggling when the roster suggest's they should be in a playoff position.

great win for the boys although it was eveident that we were being out muscled in various parts of the game. also we need the 4th line to be able to ice more than the ave 6 mins, as Babs obviously isnt 100% confident against the better sides. Hoepfully this may be seen by Kenny as an area to address. Not sure we really need another guy on the back end, unless an unbelievable deal comes along. Maybe Moen and Gaustad to address the issue would be all we need?

So when Nic finally does hang them up ( i have a funny feeling he's after Gordies record app) which Swede would you think is most styled to do a similar job (as replacing him is impossable)?

although he would be a hit in Detroit, the asking price is going to be too high. Also someone pointed out that our main priority in the offseason could be to replace 2 of our top 4 D, and that aint going to be cheap. So to give up the assests CBJ will want and take on the $7.8m contract as well as finding 2 top tier D in the summer (possably) will have Kennys work cut out. Sheahan, Jurco, Tvrdon or Pulkkinen one of these could turn out to be the goalscorer we need and one of these would def be on CBJ list for Nash. Nice thought but to much to lose in the long run.

Hank will turn it around and in a way i think Kenny knows whats needed to help him along ( Nash&Neal on his wings)! all joking apart, Z is going thru a rough period by his standards but others are helping out more this year than they did last year so it isnt hurting us to badly, i mean we are atop of the pile after 50 games. Id be more worried if he wasnt getting chances to score but he does lead the team on shots so hes getting in postion just not finding the net as much as we want him to. Rex is top of the roster on scoring % at 21.7% if Hank had converted at that rate he would have 32 goals already, and maybe the Wings would be 8 or 9 points clear at the top. Ifs and buts so heres to a change in fortune for Hank in front of the net and hopefully another 20+ goal haul for him.

strange one, then again Griffs do have a lot of blueline talent coming thru.

at the end of the day we dont need Subban. The Wings will need a high end blueliner soon and Subban isnt the type of player they want. We have enough depth to cover 3-6 coming thru, and maybe Smith could become a top 2 given time. But to fill a top 2 now, we need to go shopping and the guys wholl be available are better options than what Subban is.
