I don't think it's going to happen.They need c-men more than they need young d-men.I see them drafting a right winger if they keep there pick.

I am a fan of his but the only season he has stayed injury free was in the ahl . With detroits great number of dmen waiting there turn to play in the nhl I think it's time. You got Kindl who will make the team and Quincey who did nothing but put himself on the map when it somes to showing them he's ready. Then your first call up will be Jonathan Ericsson.

Well I read it the Detroit News and it was quoting Babcock this morning so until I read it or see it thur. I'm not going to count on it.

I agree with Holland when he said that there is another hockey that startes in sept.You can't aways be giving up on next season for the holy grail this one. Today hockey just does'nt work that wat anymore.

I just read that Pittsburg has put Ryan Malone on the trading block and in return they're for a d-man.How that in my eyes is amatch made in heaven.(6' 4" 225lbs. 12 g 9a 21points; but he's been getting over 40 points a season and he's got two years left on his contract).

NO that's not what Detroit needs right now. They have plenty of D-men and young ones who are ready to jump in any time. They need a goalie and forwards who are hungry and want to win now not next year or the the year after.

I would like too see Tomas Kopecky in Detroit and also Liv.Darryl Bootland has come along way since his last sting with Detroit but he needs too stay out of the pen. box.I have never liked Hudler(too small and too slow),he' ok for the ahl but not nhl.I also think Kindl will be ready before Quincey and I could be wrong.

This is really exciting to me ; I've been watching these draft picks and wondering when they would come to town well hear they come.These are the find of players that have gotten Edmonton were they are. Players that want it bad and have a little additude.

You must feel that they are going to put Liv in G.R. right.Also you must like to see Detroit playing short a man ; because Bootland will put them ( 390 min.) there. Hudler from all I've read and seen first hand is too slow.

I agree with you about Ernie Harwell but we have been lucky to have the broadcasters we've had . when i started listening to redwing hockey there was agreat broadcaster and I'll miss his call.Also when I first started to listen to UofM football the broadcaster was the best ( can't remember his name but he had hones and bells and nik names for everyone )
