I believe they did represent each team for the all star game last year. I remember thinking that there were so many players that didn't deserve to be there. I am hoping, if Ozzie decides to go, that they put a mic on him during his period like they did with Turco last year. I know it's a meaningless game, but I can't help being excited for it since the Wings are so well represented.

I agree with both of you. I always liked that the Wings only had 2 alternates unlike so many teams in the league. I'm interested to see how this will work out.

I'm so glad I went. It was fun watching Homer trying to deflect pucks the defensemen shot. Lidstrom almost hit him in the head! I liked how Datsyuk, Filppula, and Zetterberg were playing keep-away almost the whole time there. I tried to get my brother to go (big Datsyuk fan) but he said it would be too boring. Now he's upset he didn't go when I told him I got Datsyuk's autograph. I came so close to getting Draper's and I stayed to the very end to get Hank's (3rd time). I wish they did more of these open practices.

It would definitely be the best looking team in the league.

We have now clinched a spot. Since Colorado lost last night, they only have 8 games remaining which would give them 16 points at most. So the most points they can get is 99 and we have 100. Therefore, we have clinched a playoff spot. I want to go to a playoff game in a bad, bad way. My dad's boss might give him tickets this year since he was supposed to get them last year. Here's hoping he takes me with him.

I have a signed white Zetterberg jersey without the A that I wear every game. My brother has a white Datsyuk jersey and red Fedorov jersey and my dad has a white Yzerman jersey.
