Wow I'm acctually very surprised I mean I know some comments are pretty retarted, we all know which ones. But at least some of the people will admit that they hate us cause we're better. Such as "The same reason why everyones becoming to hate us [predators]), I mean thats true, I'm starting to hate the preds because they are starting to rise up and give us a run for our money. If you go to other boards (Blues, Avs), they wouldn't even admit that. Like once I posted on a blues that there team wasn't preforming to the best that they can righ tnow, (I wasn't trolling, but it was part of my argument), and no one would agree, they were just like well look at our record, its not that bad. We're still playing great hockey. Some of these fans atleast would put a good reason for hating us, I don't mind them hating us as long as its a good reason.

I played a year of pewee hockey and played on the same team as Kevin Hatchers son Kevin Hatcher went to ever game and coached us little, and one of the practices Derian came. To tell you the honest truth, I didn't like Derian that much. I mean his hat was so low hat you could barely see his eyes, he barely spoke at all, and just said we were doing good. He did sign some autographs however, my number was 24 (an obvious refrence to Chelios's number), so Kevin signed the 4 part, and Derian signed the 2. That was about the only time I've met any player, let alone a redwings player.

Now I was born in the 90s and I'm pretty sure there was some rivalry with the Blues in the early 90s (I read some things) but do they still hate detroit from there? I mean even Colorado doesn't hate us with that much of a passion. Granted, on the Avs forum there topic read "Another reason for us to hate Detroit" but the posters only said things like "Will this spark another rivalry", or "I can't wait to boo him when we play the wings", but never too much trash talk. I have never read our posters talking bad about the Blues and NEVER suspected that they were anything more than "Divion Rivals", which is nothing cause we beat them most of the time, but they really hate us with a passion. Why? Is it because of the Yzerman goal and they just can't let go of the past?

AWW CRAP, anyone know if there gonna show it on the internet or is there ANY way I can watch it. Man, my favorite player finally getting interviewed and I couldn't watch it.

I don't go on other forums regularly, the only ones I go to is Colorodo (because they used to be a huge rival and I wanted to see what they had to say about Bertuzzi), and the Blues (I saw one of there GDT a while ago), and I didn't start an argument, I was just mearly just asking a question, I expected some bashing but definetly not this much. As someone said early, I am a kid who was born in the Early 90s and thats why I'm not positive about the complete history of the Wings, becasue I never lived through it. I know alot of things don't get me wrong, such as the "Deat Wings" era and all that good stuff, but did we really have a huge rivalry with the Blues during the 90s? And I find it completley amazing how Blues fans talk this much trash about the wings, and say they are not "bitter", disgusting...

I have no doubt in my mind that Osgood does well, and really I dont' mind at all that he gets the start. But... I'm curious as to why he is getting the start instead of Hasek. I mean Hasek is our number 1 goalie, shouldn't he get the start for the more important game?
