My friend was pretty good friends with Hasek's son Micheal, and he got to meet Dominik once. He said he wasn't the nicest person he ever met, well it was a public event, (country day fair or something), so maybe thats why he wouldn't get an autograph. But I just found it surprising that Hasek wouldnn't give an autograph to his son's friend.

LOL No its just that, I mean goalies or Captaincy or something like that I can understand how that is contiversial, but was I dreaming or for the past to months was EVERYBODYbeen saying we need a big gritty guy. I mean I don't recall hearing (or reading) any one say we don't need one. Its like saying I want a car at a time where cars are very scarce. So finally, luckily I'm able to get a car but I don't like the color so I say I don't want it. Well sorry, its either you get that color car or nothing. We are unable to find another huge gritty guy, especially for the price of a smalll, petit kid who anyway gets limited ice time. Thats another thing, everyone complains that hudler gets limited ice time and every one says thats not gonna change. The way I see it its a win-win situation

I havn't seen much of bertuzzi post moore incident to tell you the truth. But if I remember correctly, I heard that his hitting has gone way down after that, but this was only a couple months after he came back from the suspension. Is he hitting alot now or has a stopped?

Its where a VAncover player and a Blackhawks player are checking eachother, right next to them theres a guy with a wings jersey. I found that pretty funny concidering that the wings wern't in that game. Sorry it was off topic, but i didn't feel the need to make a new thread for something so small.

I can't believe what America is coming to. Where the Body beats the Brain, where if your beautiful, you make millions if not billions, and if your smart, you make barely hundreds of thousands, maybe millions (unless your super smart that makes a product that revolutionizes the world *Bill Gates*) Where more people would vote for Ametures trying to sing a classic but messes it up (American Idol), than an extremley important decission that could change the way you and I live right now (Presidential Election). I mean really, you can have a horrible voice, not be able to dance, but have a nice face and a "nice rack" and boom your getting record deals left and right. Just listen to half of the artist, none of them can sing, they just have a nice face and body and move there lips. If your not "super hott" and wear clothes that are less than 1000 dollars, I garuntee you will not be famous. How is it fair for man to be extremley smart, find cures, help the world, study hard in school, take 10+years of college, get his masters PHD ect, make less than a girl who has just a high school diploma, if not maybe MAYBE 1 year of a community college, who has no singing, acting, dancing skills, and who's only "quality" is to be beautiful? So to get back on topic, yes it probably would work if you do put Jessica Simpson on an NHL advertisment, but I just think its disgusting of how our society is ruled by the beautiful idiots.

Thats exactly what I was thinking Anyway, for the past year or so EVERYONE almost, here was complaining of "how we need a gritty guy", and "how we need a good winger", then we would be complte. Well here it is, this is a 2 in 1 package. He can score, and he can hit, the two main things we need right now. Believe me I hate Bertuzzi with a passion, (especially because I'm a Chelios fan), but like him or not, we need him.

Lidstrom... well I guess everyone knows by now Chelly I doubt, he should get his jersey retired, but here is not the place. Drapes, never really thought about it, but even him... no. I don't see him as a "major" contribute to the Stanlely Cups. What has he done really? I mean he is a good role model, and excellent pk specialist, but good enough for the banners? No. Shanahan, maybe but doubt it. If anyone gets his number retired, besideds Lids, I woudl say its him. Feds, as mentioned before, would have gotten it no doubt. So how I see it, only Lidstrom should get it.

I woke up at 6 this morning (as I do every week day) and was waiting for the bus, luckily my bus stop is right across the street so I just wait from inside, and it was about 10 minutes late and I was wondering why it was so late, (I didn't see much snow and didn't know how cold it was outside), my friend called me and was screaming of how it was a snow day, I didn't believe him of course but i guess he was right oh and now I know... NO SCHOOL TOMMOROW

I honestly can't stand Avs fans, like a ton of people said, they don't know crap about the team history and yet they gloat about how great they are. I mean come on, I'm sure there are many civil Avalanche fans out their, but the ones I see atleast are just drunk rednecks that keep talking out of their A***es, and then when they lose they'd just jump off the bandwagon and pretend like they were never fans of Hockey. As for the leafs, sure they're annoying and alot of them are retarted, but at least they know a ton of stuff about hockey. Also most of them are not fairweather fans, they'll stick with their teams even through the toughest stage, kinda like now. I don't care who your a fan of, if your a fair weather fan, I hate you.

I was watching "Stump the Schwab" on ESPN classics, and there was a game where Schwab gives a certain amount of clues about a certain athelete to a contestant. The contestants had to say how many clues they will need in order to get the person right and teh other contestant would say if he could get the person right with less amount of clues. If the other contestant says he couldn't, then he says to give the clues to the first contestant. Anyway the category was "Hockey Gods" and the contestant had to try to get the player with 3 clues, I eventually got it but it was obvious that he had some trouble, and I got it within the first clue . .... because the answer was steve yzerman and anyone on this board would probably get it right. I need a life
